Fortnite Leaks Reveal Planned Assassin’s Creed Collaboration

A recent Fortnite leak indicates an Assassin’s Creed collaboration is on the way.

Fortnite Battle Royale has welcomed many iconic video game characters into the game's universe. That extensive list includes Master Chief (Halo), Kratos (God of War), Jinx (LoL), Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) and Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield (Resident Evil). Most recently, the Uncharted series was added, with Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazier becoming playable characters. In addition, the recent Uncharted movie version of Nathan Drake was also added.

These iconic crossovers allow Fortnite players to represent said characters in-game during Battle Royale matches and Creative Mode. Today, many reputable leakers revealed the latest addition to Fortnite’s Gaming Legends Series. Ezio Auditore da Firenze of Assassin’s Creed fame will reportedly become a purchasable character outfit soon.

Fortnite x Assassin’s Creed Leak

ShiinaBR — a popular Fortnite data miner — unexpectedly decrypted the Fortnite x Assassin’s Creed crossover this morning. At the time of the leak, no one else had indicated that an Assassin's Creed event was coming. So this is the first report. However, not much is available in terms of information. The decrypted image above shows Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed 2 and other series entries as a Fortnite character model.

It appears players will have the option of using a hooded style and unhooded style. We can surmise that Ezio’s hidden blade, which he uses to eliminate threats silently, will function as his pickaxe. Cosmetics offerings beyond that are challenging to predict. Epic Games has done a great job honoring characters in the Gaming Legends Series.

The developers have not officially announced the collaboration, but based on ShiinaBR’s track record, Fortnite x Assassin’s Creed will occur eventually. We’ll ultimately have to wait for more information. For now, it seems almost sure that Ezio Auditore will represent the iconic Ubisoft-developed Assassin’s Creed series in Fortnite Battle Royale.
