Fortnite: Kratos Skin Confirmed For Future Release

The God of War is dropping into Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5 is in full swing with a metric ton of new locations, mechanics, weapons and items to experience. Epic Games brought the heat with its latest Battle Pass, featuring The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda as its primary driving force alongside other warrior-type characters. Epic Games’ season release blog post indicated that more names would later join the roster, which fired up the rumor mill. Less than 24 hours after the Zero Point update dropped, a PlayStation Store image indicated that Kratos of Sony’s God of War series would be one of those exciting additions.

Kratos to Join Fortnite

Twitter user and reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX grabbed a screenshot of the Kratos Fortnite skin, and it’s legit. The warrior character’s cosmetic features The God of War in his typical garb, armor and war paint. Although no release date is available at this time, Kratos will join The Mandalorian and an expansive list of other mercenaries and hunters in Chapter 2 – Season 5. After Epic initially teased more characters down the line, no one anticipated what would come next. One of Sony’s flagship characters will join the likes of DC Comics, Marvel Comics and countless other crossover’s orchestrated by Epic Games.
