Fortnite: Bhangra Boogie Cup Format, Date, Prize Pool, Scoring System & More!

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5, dubbed Zero Point, begins its competitive stretch with an Android-only tournament. Some may remember the Bhangra Boogie, which surfaced many months ago as an emote exclusive to OnePlus mobile phone owners. It became one of the more sought after emotes due to its rarity. OnePlus is jumping back into Fortnite with its own Bhangra Boogie Cup, offering the hard-to-find emote, a lobby track, and a dance spray. The top point earners in each region will also win themselves a brand new OnePlus 8T Bundle.

“OnePlus is celebrating their newest device, the OnePlus 8T, and want to invite you to join in the fun! On December 6th, test your skills in the Bhangra Boogie Cup. All supported Android devices can participate and will have a chance to win the Bhangra Boogie Emote, Click Pow Get Down Lobby Track Featuring Raftaar and the Nana Dance Spray.”

Bhangra Boogie Cup Format

The Bhangra Boogie Cup is a solo tournament open to all players in the seven competitive Fornite regions – NA East, NA West, Europe, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East and Brazil. Keep in mind that only Android users can participate in this tournament. Here is the general format for the Bhangra Boogie Cup:

• Android devices only
• Three-hour session
• Maximum of ten matches
• Earn as many points as possible to win prizes

Bhangra Boogie Cup Scoring System

Epic Games worked out a scoring system that rewards eliminations and placement points reasonably. Just for queuing in, each player will earn one placement point. A Victory Royale is worth a total of ten points and each elimination will net one point. See the full scoring system below:

• Victory Royale: 10 Points
• 2nd – 5th: 7 Points
• 6th – 15th: 5 Points
• 16th – 25th: 3 Points
• 26th – 100th: 1 Point
• Each Elimination: 1 Point

Bhangra Boogie Cup Prize Pool

This tournament features no monetary prize pool, which Epic Games has done with the Lachlan Pick-Axe Cup and many others. The Bhangra Boogie Cup works in association with OnePlus to offer an emote, lobby track, spray and even one of its newest smartphones. Here is how to earn each of the listed prizes:

• Nana Dance Spray – Earn 5 Points
• Bhangra Boogie Emote & Click Pow Get Down Lobby Track featuring Raftaar – Finish inside the top 25,000
• OnePlus 8T Phone – Finish top 3 in points
• OnePlus Buds – Finish first in points
