You’ll also need an item known as the Pal Sphere which has 6 different variants including the Basic Pal Sphere, Mega Pal Sphere, Giga Pal Sphere, Hyper Pal Sphere, Ultra Pal Sphere and Legendary Pal Sphere. This Pal Sphere is what will let you capture the Pals and you’ll need to use different variants of the item based on the level of the Pal you want to capture.

• Step 1: First and foremost, you need to find your desired Pal and go up to them to assess their stats including their Health or HP and their Capture Rate. The Capture Rate is the percentage of how likely it is that you’ll be able to capture the Pal at that moment by throwing your Pal Sphere.  
• Step 2: Then, you need to start weakening or subduing the Pal by attacking it with whatever weapon you bring with you. It is advisable to bring a good weapon like a Bow and Arrow or an Assault Rifle along with some good level Pals so you can take on any Pal in the wild. 
• Step 3: Keep an eye on the Health or HP bar of the Pal while you weaken or subdue it and when the Pal is nearly dead, get ready to capture it.  
• Step 4: Throw your Pal Sphere directly at the Pal and wait for the capture to be successful.

Your screen will also show a brief flash of blue light as the Pal Sphere you captured your Pal in goes to your inventory or Party. Also, on the bottom left corner of your screen, the UI will show the name of the Pal you’ve captured and you can summon it at any time you want from its own Pal Sphere.
