Dota 2: Soft Supports At The International 12 And Their Signature Heroes #3

Let’s take a look at part 3 of the best soft supports at The International 12.

Since The International 12 is approaching, it’s no surprise that a lot of people want to know more about the tournament. We’ve already covered some of the best soft supports at The International 12 before, but now, it’s time to take a look at the remaining players. Keep in mind that TI 12 qualifiers are over, which means that we know the names of all players who will attend the tournament. Some are definitely more interesting than others, so let’s learn more details about them.

Danylo “Kingrd” Nascimento – Keyd Stars

One of the new South American teams that we will get the chance to watch at The International 12 is Keyd Stars. It wasn’t easy for the Brazilian superstars to reach this stage of the event, but after securing a few important victories at The International 12 qualifiers, the squad secured a slot for the tournament.

One of the main reasons why the team was so successful was Kingrd, the 31-year-old player from Brazil. He is one of the most experienced names at The International 12 and a player who has been a part of many clubs over the years. Kingrd played for the likes of paiN Gaming, Midas Club Elite, SG Esports, and Wolf Team.

The support/captain will have a key role in his team and will be one of the main reasons why the team will achieve good results. Although his squad is one of the underdogs, you never know what’s going to happen.

As for the heroes that this player is good with, he shines with the following names:

Rodrigo “n1ght” Cruz – Thunder Awaken

The second new South American team that will try to show it’s capable of dealing with some of the best in the world is Thunder Awaken. The newly-formed squad consists of a few promising players, one of which is n1ght. Judging from what we’ve seen from this support, we can safely say that he’s playing really well and knows what he’s doing.

The bad news is that we do not have that much information about the player in general. Not much is known about things like his favorite heroes and past experiences. What we do know is that he had been a part of Lava for a few months prior to joining TA. The latter happened when the squad had to rebuild its roster after several players moved to Team Liquid.

Vladislav “Kataomi`” Semenov – Entity

Despite the fact that a lot of people do not believe Entity has any chance of winning The International 12, we believe that this is not the case. Considering that Kataomi is one of the top soft supports at The International 12, the player will definitely help his team achieve the best results possible.

One of the reasons why this support is so dangerous is because he can play really well with a lot of heroes that aren’t that common in the support position. His ability to surprise opponents allows Entity to be one step ahead of the competition. Consequently, Kataomi always has an important role in his team’s success.

The 24-year-old was a part of Team Singularity and Creepwave before joining Entity in 2021. He is really good with a variety of heroes, including:

Omar “OmaR” Moughrabi – Quest Esports

As one of the most promising teams at TI 12, Quest Esports has tons of world-class players who will be ready to show what they are capable of. One of them is OmaR, the team’s position 4 support and one of the best soft supports at The International 12.

Despite his young age and the fact that he did not have that much experience, OmaR quickly became one of the biggest names in Western Europe. The 20-year-old became famous for his aggressive playstyle and the fact that he plays with heroes that aren’t that popular in the current meta. A lot of people do not give him enough credit, but the player is one of the driving forces behind his team’s success.

OmaR is a support player that started his career in Coolguys. However, he spent just a few months there, after which he became a part of Quest Esports in the summer of 2022. He can play with many heroes, but most people associate him with the following:

Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet – Virtus.Pro

Virtus.Pro is finally back among the best after the team secured a slot for The International 12. It wasn’t easy, but thanks to the team’s ambitious roster and the likes of sayuw, the squad will play against the best in the world.

What’s interesting about sayuw is that the player is 26 years old and has been a part of the pro scene for more than 6 years now. Although he played for af ew big teams over the years, such as Gambit Esports, HellRaisers, and Team Empire, he became famous after joining VP in late 2022.

This CIS player is known for using a lot of aggressive heroes that most other supports do not go for. He has been spotted playing all kinds of things, which is good for his team because it will allow them to be more competitive. However, sayuw is mostly known for using these three names:

Xu “fy” Linsen – Azure Ray

By far one of the best supports at The International 12 is fy, the living legend from China. He has been one of the most consistent players in the world and became famous as being the top-tier Rubick star. We can devote an entire article to this living legend because fy has been a part of the best teams in China and won every single event in Dota 2 apart from The International.

Fy’s career started in 2013, and he has won more than $3M over the years. In addition to Vici Gaming, he also played for Team VGj and PSG.LGD. In fact, he achieved the best results when he was with LGD. Today, he is a part of Azure Ray, where he plays with the likes of Maybe and others.

The 28-year-old has a really long history with pretty much all top-tier Chinese players. In terms of the heroes he plays with, you can find him on the following:

Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan – Team SMG

The last name on our final list of the best soft supports at The International 12 is for ah fu. He is a pretty popular player from Southeast Asia who has more than 9 years of professional experience. During his career, the player shined for a few big SEA and Chinese teams, such as Mineski and Royal Never Give Up. As of 2021, he is a part of Team SMG, and the squad finally received a slot for The International.

Ah fu can play with a range of heroes, but he is usually known for using one of these:
