Dota 2 7.34b Rising Stars – Pick These Heroes To Gain MMR

Here are the heroes to pay attention to if you want to increase your MMR in the Dota 2 7.34b patch.

It’s been a few weeks since the Dota 2 Patch 7.34b arrived, so most PUB and professional players are already familiar with the patch. In fact, TI 12’s qualifiers took place on this patch, and there are 2 upcoming events that will be held on it – BetBoom Dacha and DreamLeague Season 21.

We’ve already covered some of the best and worst heroes in the Dota 2 stats 7.34b article. Although you can focus on them to gain MMR, there are several other options that are worth trying. We know this information is important to many people, so let’s learn more about them.

Treant Protector

Treant Protector

Treant Protector is an interesting hero that a lot of Dota 2 players are interested in because he is really good in the laning stage. His ability to zone opponents, do damage and provide the team with vision makes Treant one of the rising stars in the Dota 2 Patch 7.34b.

Judging from the stats at TI 12 qualifiers and the hero’s current win rate,e there’s no arguing this is one of the leading heroes to gain MMR within the current patch. Speaking of the qualifiers, Treant Protector was one of the most impressive heroes across all regions. The best players in the world have picked him a total of 51 times, and he has an impressive 62.75% win rate. Therefore, we expect to see him a lot more at the upcoming tournaments, as well as in PUB games.

Vengeful Spirit

One of the heroes that definitely surprised us the most in the Dota 2 7.34b patch is Vengeful Spirit. This was one of the agility heroes that has always been popular, but this was not the case in 2023. Venge was nowhere to be found because the hero was not big among PUB or professional players. However, things have changed because she is one of the best options you can get right now.

Vengeful Spirit received pretty impressive buffs in the previous patch, which explains why she became one of the top picks. If we look at the Dota 2 7.34b patch and the heroes to gain MMR with, we can see that Venge’s win rate is almost 54%. What’s even more impressive is that professional players picked her a total of 82 times during the qualifiers. Even though her win rate is sitting at 44%, the hero proved once again that it can work in a lot of situations. Although most players used her as support, she can also be a pretty good carry, as long as the team has the proper setup.

Sladar

The two heroes you can gain MMR with mentioned above are popular in PUBs and Pro games. However, some heroes work way better in PUBs, especially in the Dota 2 7.34b patch, and Slardar is among them.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen this hero in action in the hands of the best players, but Slardar definitely became a top-tier PUB hero. He is relatively easy to play and does not need a lot of items to be effective. In fact, the latter is one of the things that makes him better than many other offlaners.

Speaking of offlaners, we’ve also seen players using him as a carry. Although he can work in this position, Slardar does not farm fast, so he will not work in every setup. The good thing is that he is incredibly effective against invisible targets, as well as single-core lineups.

Wraith King

Another STR hero that can be an excellent option to gain MMR with in the Dota 2 patch 7.34b is Wraith King. WK is a name that often gets a lot of attention from PUB and Pro players, especially when he is a meta hero. Most of us probably remember Nikobaby, one of the most popular WK players in the world.

Even though the hero is definitely not the meta carry right now, he’s a solid option to win your games. WK is not easy to kill, and his lifesteal allows him to go to the jungle if the laning stage does not go well. His farming speed is pretty good, which is another big plus when you compare him to other options.

Wraith King’s current stats reveal that the hero has a 53.51% win rate, which makes him the most successful carry in 7.34b. With that said, WK only appeared in 6 matches during TI12 qualifiers and only won 2 of them. It will be interesting to see if the hero will become more popular in the future because his PUB win rate clearly shows that he can be useful in the current meta.

Spectre

The last hero that you can focus on in the Dota 2 7.34b patch to gain MMR is Spectre. The stats reveal that this hero appears in around 10% of the PUB games and has a pretty impressive win rate of 53.50%, just shy of Wraith King’s stats.

Similar to WK, Specter was not the best hero during the TI12 qualifiers. In fact, the hero only had the chance to shine in 4 games and won 1 of them. These stats are not impressive, but considering the buffs and the fact that Spectre’s big in PUB games, we expect to see a lot more from the hero in the upcoming tournaments.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, there are 2 big tournaments about to take place in the next couple of weeks. We expect to see a lot of Dota 2 action, so make sure to follow ESTNN for more details about them. Don’t forget that The International 12 is also approaching, so expect even more details about it.
