Here are the best Valorant entry fraggers of all the international LAN events since 2021
Entry fraggers are crucial for any team composition. They are the first to engage in duels with the enemies when attacking a site or contesting any area of the map. In Valorant, entry fraggers play Duelist Agents such as Jett and Raze, as these characters’ purpose is to “seek out engagement first.”
The primary role of entry fraggers is to help their team successfully take a site or an area of the map. If they manage to get kills doing that, that’s even better. Therefore, when ranking the best entry fraggers of all time in Valorant, we have to look at the opening kills of players who competed at the top.
❓Which players are actually the best entry fraggers?

Here are the top 3 entry fraggers of Valorant from all global LANs, including Masters and Champions, based on the rounds and first kills of the players –

- VLR Rating: 1.14
- Average Combat Score (ACS): 255.7
- Kill-Death Ratio: 1.23

Fnatic’s talented Duelist player had his best year in 2023, as he led his squad to win LOCK//IN and Masters Tokyo. However, even before such outstanding accomplishments, Derke has had excellent stats in prior years, as he played in the Grand Final of the first global LAN of Valorant against Sentinels.
Derke is one of the best Duelists the Valorant world has ever seen, and he is highly experienced in playing Raze and Jett for the European squad he is part of. While his excellent mechanical skills allow him to get clean entry kills, the 20-year-old’s teammates have a lot of credit for him being the best entry fragger.
Fnatic consists of a group of world-class players led by IGL Jake “Boaster” Howlett. Together, they are able to create the best scenarios for Derke to enter a site, as the European roster has one of the best utility usage in the game.

- Kill-Death Ratio: 1.27

Even though yay could not play in this year’s Masters and Champions events, he remains one of the best players this game has ever seen. The 25-year-old’s journey with OpTic Gaming began when he claimed the title of “El Diablo” through precise but aggressive plays that allowed the North American squad to show dominance in the international scene.
The 2022’s best Esports player’s most significant achievement was winning Masters Reykjavik in 2022. Aside from that, he led his team to great heights by reaching the grand finals of Champions 2022 and Masters Berlin. El Diablo, while an experienced Duelist player, had his best form on Chamber, the once-mighty Sentinel Agent that has been nerfed to the ground.
Recently, yay has joined the APAC roster of BLEED, which has won the Pacific Ascension tournament and, therefore, will take part in 2024’s VCT Pacific. As a result, we will be seeing this legendary player return to the big stage, this time in a different region.

- VLR Rating: 1.11
- Average Combat Score (ACS): 233.3
- Kill-Death Ratio: 1.17
- Kill/Assist/Survived/Traded: 72%
- Average Damage Per Round: 148.0
- Headshot Percentage: 24%
The 20-year-old DRX player is a master of all Agents, but he has mostly played Duelists for the South Korean squad. There’s no surprise that one of the best Raze players in the world will excel at entry fragging, as BuZz is able to use the methodical utility of his strategic team in his favor. Moreover, he has mastered the method of turning around unfavorable rounds to victory by his sheer ability to click heads.
Even though BuZz does not have any international trophies while being part of one of the best Pacific teams, he came close to many incredible victories. This year’s LOCK//IN and Champions 2022 were two of the events where BuZz and his squad reached the farthest in their career.
During this year’s VCT season, BuZz was replaced a few times by his team to trial their newest member Jung “Foxy9” Jae-sung, and while DRX had a great run in the Pacific League, their performance in Masters Tokyo and Champions 2023 wasn’t up to par. Nonetheless, BuZz shined when he needed to, becoming one of the best Duelists we saw this year.
