The final Ignition Series Event of North America, Pop Flash, unveiled the groups, casters, dates, and where to watch.
2020 has been a breakout year for Valorant, opening its beta to the public in March and receiving overwhelming support from the community. The last six months hosted numerous tournaments under the Ignition Series, each varying in format and teams invited. The final event of the opening series will be B-site, and Flashpoints’ Pop Flash Valorant tournament on Aug. 26-30. Eight teams will be showing up to play over four days, with four teams in Group A and four in Group B.

Group A consists of Cloud9, GenG, TSM, and the previously homeless, Dignitas. Group B is composed of Envy, T1, Sentinels, and Immortals. The prize pool consists of $50,000, and teams will fight through their respective groups for a spot in the Playoffs bracket. The Playoff bracket will be double elimination, and only open to the top two teams from each group. Joining these teams is a roster of talent that we have yet to see cast Valorant at the highest level.
Joining the desk will be Christine “Potter” Chi, Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg, Daniel “DDK” Kapadia and Erik “DoA” Lonnquist. “We’re excited to join the VALORANT Ignition Series with Pop Flash. B Site is honored that we can help to lay the foundation for a brand new global esport in a way that sets a standard for sustainability and future success,” says Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles, Vice President of Brand at B Site.
The tournament will be available to watch on Flashpoint’s Twitch and Youtube channel throughout the weekend. The opening matches and brackets are set to release on Monday, but fans are waiting with bated breath to see who their favorite teams will face.
