Mixwell Joins G2 Esports As The Team’s First Valorant Player

G2 Esports signs Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho as the organization’s first Valorant professional player.
Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho, former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player, joins G2 Esports on Valorant. As the first player announced by the organization, he is the team captain and will pick the players who will play with him.

Before joining Valorant, Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professionally. He played in many different teams, such as OverGaming, Epsilon eSports, x6tence, OpTic Gaming and more recently Cloud9. He won the DreamHack Open Valencia 2018, as well as the ELEAGUE Season 2 and Northern Arena 2016 – Montreal. He also placed 3rd in the Intel Extreme Masters XII – Sydney, losing in semifinals against SK Gaming, who eventually won the competition.
Cañellas Colocho trialed with G2 Esports on CS:GO, and is now the organization’s first player on Valorant. As the team captain, he will have to find players to form the best team possible.
G2 Esports already has teams on League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and Fortnite. The organization took its first steps in Valorant with the G2 European Brawl and the recently announced Valorant Ignition Series, featuring the European G2 Esports Invitational.
