CS:GO: Cloud9 Prepare for 2020 Season by Signing ATK’s Full Roster

For a while now, there have been rumblings from multiple sources that Cloud9 was going to sign the whole ATK roster. Today it finally happened. Earlier, C9 finally confirmed their lineup for the upcoming competitive year, the former ATK squad. After they signed ATK’s full team, with the coach, C9 released James “JamezIRL” Macaulay, who recently coached the previous roster of the American organization.

The new Cloud9 roster will make its first appearance at North American IEM Katowice Closed Qualifiers. The NA Closed qualifier for IEM Katowice starts on the 7th of January.

After a tough 2019, Cloud9 finally decided to sign a full team instead of building a lineup from the ground up. Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas are both still staying on the roster, as they are still contracted, but will be inactive.

C9's new roster will be as follows:

  • Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
  • Ian “motm” Hardy
  • Ricky “floppy” Kemery
  • Josh “oSee” Ohm
  • Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek
  • Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (coach)
  • Tyson “TenZ” Ngo (benched)
  • Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas (benched)
