The Strength hero has a base attack damage of 47 – 55, letting Sand King strike enemy units with adequate damage to annihilate them.

The increased armor of Sand King lets him move closer to enemy units to get last hits. You can purchase a Quelling Blade for Sand King to increase the damage dealt to enemy creeps in lanes. Quelling Blade can also be used to chop down trees to get out of dire situations while playing Sand King in Dota 2 games.

You can max out the passive ability, Caustic Finale, for Sand King to earn more gold in lanes. You can increase the damage dealt by the explosion at level 15 through the Talent Tree.

Many players who have been successful at increasing their GPM with Sand King use Sand Storm to hide themselves between waves of creeps. Sand King can cast Sand Storm in a radius of 650 to become undetectable to enemy heroes. Enemy units caught within the Sand Storm take up to 85 damage from Sand Storm. The active ability can last for up to 35 seconds and has a cooldown of 22 seconds. You can take last hits by moving around in the Sand Storm to gain more gold with Sand King. Caustic Finale will definitely be a resourceful ability to finish off enemy creeps within seconds of approaching the Strength hero.

Sand King can buy a Veil of Discord to amplify the damage dealt by Sand Storm. The melee hero can cast Magic Weakness using Veil of Discord to deal 18% more damage from spells in a radius of 600.
