FaZe Clan takes down the reigning World Champions OpTic Gaming to win the Halo World Championship 2023.

FaZe Clan Wins Halo World Championship 2023
Jonathan “Renegade” Willette, Bradley “Frosty” Bergstrom, Mathew “Royal2” Fiorante, and Paul “SnakeBite” Duarte take home the Halo World Championship 2023. This includes a $400,000 prize for the team and 200,000 HCS Points. Always hovering the top 3 but rarely coming out on top, FaZe found their perfect strategies at just the right time. Not winning every Major doesn't mean a team can't be the best in the world, and FaZe Clan proved that all weekend long.
Going into next season, barring some unforeseen retirements, there is a good chance we'll see this team together once again. SnakeBite, Frosty, Royal2, and Royal1 are all now 3 time World Champions together over the course of 7 years. Coming off a World Championship with FaZe Clan now, Renegade isn't likely to want to go anywhere, and the team certainly wouldn't want him to go. There's still plenty of this team yet to be seen.
Halo World Championship
Resembling other Majors leading up to the event, the Halo World Championship 2023 was everything it promised, all the way down to the top 4 teams. The event ended up being a true culmination of everything this season had been building up to. From the fans, to the production, to the players everybody was at their absolute best. As one of the oldest mainstream esports, it's reassuring to see that Halo is evolving with the esports world and bringing us better events and competition each year.
