Evil Geniuses are the 2023 Valorant World Champions
The Kia Forum, Los Angeles crowd saw the first North American Champions winners in an exciting Best of 5 match. Evil Geniuses ended the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour by claiming the title of the strongest team of the year. With this incredible victory, EG secured a $1M prize and the beginning of their great dynasty.

When Evil Geniuses were selected as one of the North American franchised teams for the 2023 VCT Season, a lot of questions came flying around about this decision. Not only did they secure the Grand Final of their first-ever Masters tournament, but they also managed to win the biggest Valorant trophy of this year by securing the Grand Final victory at Champions 2023.
Evil Geniuses Secure Grand Final Win against Paper Rex
The Grand Final Best of 5 started with a map veto advantage for Paper Rex as the winner of the Upper Final, and still, Evil Geniuses were able to defeat the Pacific Kings in a dominating 3-1 series.

Alexander “jawgemo” Mor from the North American side secured the highest number of kills in the series with an 85-62 K-D, and his incredible performance on Lotus helped EG close out the Bo5 on the fourth map. He is undoubtedly one of the best Raze players of 2023.
