Champions 2023 is the climax of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) this year, as it is the most important eSports event for the game in 2023. This is the third Champions tournament, and it’s taking place for the first time in North America. Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles will witness 16 squads from different regions fight in the Group Stage and Playoffs to become the best team in the world. The top four teams will go to Kia Forum for the final part of the event, which has a capacity of 17,500. Valorant Champions 2023 – Prize 

Compared to Champions 2022, where the prize pool was $1,000,000, the prize pool this year has been increased to $2,250,000.

Valorant Champions 2023 – Format

The Champions will kick off with the Group Stage, with four groups, each containing four teams. Every group will follow a double-elimination GSL format where the top two squads move forward to the Playoffs.

The best eight teams from the Group Stage will secure Playoffs, featuring a double-elimination bracket.

All matches of Champions 2023 will be Bo3s except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which will be Bo5s.

Champions 2023’s Group Stage will start on August 6 at 12:00 PT / 15:00 ET / 21:00 CEST and will end on August 14. 

The Playoffs will kick off on August 17, with the Grand Final match taking place on August 27.
