Dota 2 Broken Builds – The Heroes To Go For (7.34c)

The newest Dota 2 patch 7.34c brought the much-needed nerfs and buffs to some heroes. Even though the patch did not include any Major changes, it had an effect on the meta because certain heroes became a lot more popular than they were. In fact, we’ve already covered some of the heroes you should not pick in the current meta, so make sure to check it before you start playing.

Instead of focusing on which heroes to get and which to pass on, this article will be different because it will include some of the Dota 2 broken builds in 7.34c right now. There are a lot of things you should keep an eye on, and the builds are definitely one of them, so let’s learn more about them.

Shadow Shaman

Even though most people only look at the core heroes, there are always a few supports that are much stronger than the rest. Shadow Shaman is one of them because this is a hero who received a lot of positive changes in the most recent patch. Consequently, he is one of the names we wanted to include in his Dota 2 broken builds in the patch 7.34c article.

When talking about Shadow Shaman, the most important thing that makes this hero so popular is his CC. He has one of the best CCs in the game, which allows him to be extremely dangerous early on as well as at the later stages of the game. His nuke is fairly decent, and his pushing capabilities are second to none. Once you leave Shadow Shaman alone, he can easily destroy your tower in a matter of minutes.

When it comes down to the buffs, Shadow Shaman got tons of new things. The hero’s Shackles now do more damage and heal for more, whereas Ether Shock costs less mana, which means you can use it more often. Hex also received tons of changes because it lasts longer, has more range, and increases the damage that the target takes by 20%, which is insane. Of course, Mass Serpent Ward also received a buff because the ultimate has fewer CDs than before.

In terms of his item build, Shadow Shaman has not really changed a lot. People still go for the same items, but things like Blink Dagger are more important than ever because of the Hex buffs. Aghanim’s Scepter is also pretty important now because the wards have less cooldown, which means that the hero can do a lot more damage and be more effective.

Wraith King

Wraith King

The second hero that we want to talk about when discussing the Dota 2 Broken Builds is Wraith King. He also wasn’t that popular in the previous meta, but the several buffs made him one of the best carries in Dota 2 right now. Therefore, we expect to see him a lot more at The International 12.

When it comes down to the items his hero goes for, the current item build focuses on Aghanim’s Shard and Aghanim’s Scepter because these two things make him a lot stronger than the rest. Of course, people also get items like Radiance because they allow them ti increase their farming speed.

Those who want to use Wraith King’s fighting capabilities can go for the build that consists of Blink Dagger, Desolator, and Armlet of Mordiggian. These three items can be obtained fairly early on in the game and will make him a lot more effective than many other heroes.

The only news about Wraith King in 7.34c is that he is not that good against Outworld Devourer, and the latter is one of the hot midders in the current path. Consequently, you have to be careful when picking this hero.

Lone Druid

There is no arguing that Lone Druid was one of the heroes that a lot of people forgot about. He wasn't that big in the previous meta, nor the one before that, but the hero is back just before The International 12. Sadly, we won’t be able to see MATUMBAMAN in action, a player known for being one of the best with Lone Druid.

The fact that the hero is way better than he was a few months ago is probably not a surprise considering all the buffs he got. Although there are different kinds of builds you can go for, there are two popular ones – farming and fighting. An important thing to know is that both focus on the bear, so do not expect to find Dota 2 broken builds in 7.34c that will include the hero.

If you choose the farming option, try to get Hand of Midas and/or Mjollnir/Radiance because this will increase your farming speed drastically. Once you have these items, you can use them to get the other important things.

People who decide to use the fighting build will probably have more fun because it is highly effective. In fact, when talking about Dota 2 broken builds, we’ve seen that most pro players who go for LD will purchase a Diffusal Blade. The latter is an amazing item that’s highly effective when it comes to killing people early on. Let’s not forget that the Bear received tons of buffs in 7.34c, so he is incredibly strong.

Another thing when discussing the Dota 2 Borken builds in 7.34c is that the bear and Lone Druid himself benefit a lot from stats because both have the “Universal status”. Therefore, items like Wraith Bands and other things are incredibly effective here. There are also tons of Neutral Items you can get that will help you, so it’s no surprise this is one of the best in the game.
