Dota 2: 23savage Makes History, Hits 12,000 MMR

A player has once again redefined the limits of reaching the highest MMR in Dota 2.

Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon has become the first player to reach the 12,000 MMR mark in Dota 2. Known for breaking records, the 18-year-old was one of the very few players to reach 10,000 MMR on May 1, last year. Just two months later, he became the second player to touch the 11,000 MMR milestone. After him, more notable names like Marc Polo “Raven” Luis Fausto and Ralfi Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman managed to that 11k benchmark too.

According to Dota 2 Pro Tracker, 23savage had 40 wins and 25 losses out of 65 matches that he played in the last eight days. That’s an insane win rate of 61.5% at the highest possible level of matchmaking in the game. The carry player has successful win rates with Morphling, Troll Warlord and Arc Warden, with occasional games of Anti Mage and Phantom Assassin.

23savage was part of Fnatic’s squad, which won World E-sports Legendary League and DOTA Summit 12. After a 10 month spell with the Southeast Asian team, the Thai professional joined Vici Gaming. Unfortunately, he parted ways with the Chinese organization without playing a single game because of Covid-19 restrictions.

Considering his success and quality of gameplay, 23savage should be able to join a reputed team soon. Considering the DPC season has resumed, the young professional would desperately want to take part in The International 10.
