ESL One Cologne will go on across four separate regions, with online tournaments taking place in Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceania. The European division will see sixteen teams battle for a $325,000 prize pool. Headlined by teams like G2 Esports and Natus Vincere, the European event’s team list is rounded out by Heroic, MAD Lions, and Brazilian squad MIBR.

North America will have eight squads competing for a $135,000 prize pool, with Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses leading the pack. Triumph and Chaos Esports Club take the final spots in the North American division.

Both Asia and Oceania will have four teams fighting for a $20,000 prize pool. TyLoo took the first spot in the Asian region due to their standing in Road to Cologne. The premier Chinese squad will be joined by Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and Beyond Esports. Renegades claimed the initial invite in Oceania, with that division being rounded out by ORDER, Avant Gaming, and Chiefs Esports Club.
