If you are unsure which Dota 2 heroes you get in patch 7.35c, here are some of the big names you should keep an eye on.
It has been almost two weeks since the Dota 2 Patch 7.35c came out. Albeit not bringing the changes that some of the community was hoping for, the most recent patch definitely changed the meta.
There were loads of hero and item changes, some of which were more important than the rest. We know that many of our readers want to get the best heroes possible to reach their desired MMR, so join us as we unveil the most successful Dota 2 heroes of patch 7.35c.
Visage
The first hero whose win rate is significantly higher than before is Visage. A lot of you may be surprised by this fact, considering the hero did not receive any changes. Almost two weeks after the Dota 2 Patch 7.35c, Visage’s win rate is a little over 53%.
One of the reasons for the hero’s improved win rate is the different item changes. Some of the items that Visage players normally go for have become a lot more attractive than before. Vladimir’s Offering, for example, now gives 20 armor and extra mana regen, which makes the hero a lot harder to kill. The same is true for other popular items, such as Hearth of Tarrasque, Haven’s Halberd, and even Helm of the Overlord.
Despite the improved win rate in PUB games, Visage is not that popular in general because the hero’s pick rate is a little over 1%. This is also true for pro matches because, judging from the DreamLeague Season 22 stats, Visage is not one of the preferred picks for professional players.
Mirana
Mirana is a hero that we did not expect to find on this list. Her pub stats are dreadful, to say the least, because she continues to have less than a 50% win rate. Her pub stats, however, are some of the best, and it seems like she will become one of the hottest heroes at DreamLeague Season 22.
Even though her win rate is not that impressive, Mirana’s stats are slowly going up, even in PUBs. Like Visage, this was not one of the heroes that got any specific changes in the most recent Dota 2 patch 7.35c. Yet, it seems like she fits really well in the meta, so we expect to see a lot more from her in the future.
Terrorblade
Speaking of some of the best heroes in the Dota 2 Patch 7.35c, Terrorblade is on the list. He was one of the least popular picks in the last couple of metas, especially in PUBs. This is reflected in his win rate, which dropped below 46%.
Even though he is not the best option in the meta right now, the latest changes have had a good effect on him. Two weeks after Dota 2 released its most recent patch, Terrorblade’s win rate is above 48%.
There are a few reasons for the hero’s success, one of which is the buffs. In the 7.35c Dota 2 patch, Terrorblade’s base STR is now 18 instead of 16, which may not seem much, but it makes him way harder to kill. On top of that, Reflect has less cooldown on all 4 levels, which means he can use it a lot more.
In addition to these changes, the buffs to some items, such as Manta Style and Sanga and Yasha, also affect the hero. Overall, this will be an interesting patch for Terrorblade fans.
Leshrac
Leshrac has been one of the hottest picks in Dota 2 for a few months now. He rose from the ashes after he was nowhere to be found in the met, and the last couple of Dota 2 patches even nerfed some of his abilities. This definitely affected his win rate because he slowly became out of the worst in the meta.
It seems like the devs decided that they were a bit too harsh on Leshrac because the Dota 2 Patch 7.35c delivered a few buffs. One of them is the Diabolic Edict because it deals more damage than before. Besides using it for farming, this ability is great for pushing, which means we will probably see Leshrac and Terrorblade in the same team.
Leshrac’s current stats show that the hero’s win rate is just above 53%, making him one of the best PUB game heroes. However, most PUB players haven’t figured out that Leshrac is good because his pick rate is close to 3%. We expect this to change in the future.
Arc Warden
Leshrac is doing pretty well in the mid-lane, but he is not the most dominant hero there. This honor goes to Arc Warden, who continues to be one of the best Dota 2 heroes in patch 7.35c.
We expected this to change after the new patch because AW was among the few heroes that received a nerf. His base STR and STR gain were nerfed, which translates into a much weaker laning stage.
Speaking of nerfs, another thing that was changed is Sparm Wraith’s duration. Instead of lasting for 45 seconds, this ability is now 16 seconds, which means that Arc Warden can’t just stack it numerous times and get easy kills.
Despite the nerfs in the Dota 2 Patch 7.35c, the hero’s win rate is up by almost 1% and is close to 54.30%. On the other hand, his pick rate is down by half a percent and is at 6%. By the looks of it, pro players are not relying on the hero either because he hasn’t been a top pick at DreamLeague Season 22.
Honorable Mentions
In addition to these heroes, a few other names are also slowly becoming hot options in the Dota 2 patch 7.35c. Tiny is a really good example because he is one of the hottest options at DreamLeague Season 22 right now. This is also true for Mars and Puck, both of which are among the most successful heroes. It will be interesting to see what’s going to happen in the future.
