These are the easiest support heroes you can play to advance in Cavern Crawl during Battle Pass 2022.

Dota 2 players have tons of rewards to unlock with the Battle Pass 2022 that is currently taking place along with The International 2022. People can play matches to earn bonus battle points to level up with the Battle Pass 2022 and receive item effects, hero taunts, emoticons, and other cool rewards.

Battle Pass 2022 marks the return of the much-awaited Cavern Crawl that has introduced new Mythical sets for Juggernaut, Crystal Maiden, and Slardar. You can play as the designated heroes in the Cavern Crawl map to make progress toward these Mythical sets. Completing hero challenges in Cavern Crawl will provide treasure chests that reward players with additional battle points and Style Unlock Fragments.

Here are the easiest support heroes you can play to achieve the Mythical sets in Cavern Crawl.

Tusk gets ready to trample enemies

Tusk is an unrelenting Strength hero in Dota 2. He can use his abilities to move his allies closer to enemy units and block their path to prevent enemies from escaping heated battles. The melee hero can nuke enemy units with his spells and deal critical damage to destroy his opponents.

The Strength hero has base stats of 23 Strength, 23 Agility, and 18 Intelligence. He gains up to 3.9 Strength per level. The increased Strength that Tusk gains throughout the game can be used to turn him into a reliable support hero in the game.

Tusk has 660 HP and 291 mana at the start of the game. You can buy Arcane Boots early in the game to increase the mana pool of Tusk by 250. The additional mana that he gains by equipping Arcane Boots can be used to nuke enemies in lanes and deplete their health before going in for the final blow.

The melee hero has a base movement speed of 310. Purchasing Arcane Boots will increase Tusk’s movement speed by 45. Arcane Boots costs1300 gold in the game. You can use Arcane Boots to replenish the mana of nearby allies by up to 175 every 55 seconds.

Tusk can use Ice Shards to create large glaciers that can block enemy heroes in battles. The glaciers act as a barrier that lasts for up to 4 seconds. Ice Shards deals 300 damage to all enemy units that it comes in contact with. It has a cooldown of 14 seconds and consumes 100 mana.

The ability has a cast range of 1800. You can decrease the cooldown of Ice Shards by 6 seconds by reaching level 20 in Dota 2. Ice Shards can also be upgraded using an Aghanim’s Shard to deal additional damage per second.

You can use Snowball right after casting Ice Shards to roll toward enemy units that are trapped within the glaciers. Snowball deals base damage of 260 to its target and stuns the enemy units for up to 1.4 seconds. You can pull in allies around Tusk to deal bonus damage with Snowball. It has a cooldown of 15 seconds and needs 75 mana to be used in the game.

Players can increase the damage dealt by Snowball by 120 by reaching level 15. You can also decrease the cooldown of Snowball by 8 seconds at level 25 through the Talent Tree. You’ll need to make sure that Tusk has sufficient mana during the first few minutes of the game to be able to nuke enemies with Ice Shards and Snowball.

People who play the support role in their team can use Tusk to roam the map. Tusk can plant Observer Wards at strategic locations to reveal enemy heroes who are farming in lanes and jungles.

You can equip Tusk with a Vanguard to enable him to take reduced incoming damage after entering battles with Snowball. Vanguard will provide Tusk with 250 health and 7 health regeneration per second. It will also give Tusk a 60% chance to block 64 damage from all sources. Vanguard can be upgraded to Crimson Guard to protect his teammates against physical attacks. It costs 1825 gold in the game.

Blade Mail is an item that can help Tusk survive longer in battles. Tusk can hurl himself toward enemies and use Blade Mail to return damage to enemy heroes. He can use Ice Shards to force enemies to face him and attack him while Blade Mail is active. Blade Mail also provides 28 attack damage and 6 armor to Tusk. You can buy Blade Mail for 2100 gold in Dota 2.

Walrus Punch!, Tusk’s ulti, can be used to deal up to 400% critical damage to enemy units. Opponents who are hit by Walrus Punch! have their movement speed slowed by 40% for up to 4 seconds.  His ulti has a cooldown of 10 seconds and requires 75 mana. You can also use Walrus Punch! on enemy units that are immune to spells.

You can gain a 12% chance to hit enemies with an instance of Walrus Punch! after reaching level 25 through the Talent Tree in the game. Many Dota 2 players use Tusk to reposition their enemies with Walrus Kick.

You can buy an Aghanim’s Scepter to learn the new ability, Walrus Kick, that can be used to launch targets away by a distance of 1400. Walrus Kick deals 350 damage and slows the movement speed of its targets. It has a cooldown of 12 seconds and consumes 100 mana.

Tusk can use Walrus Kick to isolate enemy heroes from their teams. You could consider choosing Tusk as one of the easiest support heroes in Cavern Crawl to earn bonus battle points.

Witch Doctor can be a monstrous threat to his enemies in battles. He can activate Voodoo Restoration at will to heal nearby allies in a 650 radius. Death Ward, Witch Doctor’s ulti, can be used to summon a ward that attacks enemy heroes within 700 radius. Enemy units hit by Death Ward take up to 210 damage per second. The summoned Death Ward can last for up to 8 seconds. It has a cooldown of 60 seconds and needs 200 mana.

Be sure to use Maledict before casting Death Ward around enemy heroes. You can equip Glimmer Cape to turn Witch Doctor invisible while channeling the Death Ward in battles. Glimmer Cape provides 20 magic resistance to Witch Doctor and can be activated to turn him invisible for 5 seconds. You can purchase Glimmer Cape for 1950 gold in Dota 2.

You can upgrade Death Ward by purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter. Witch Doctor’s ulti can bounce off of nearby enemy heroes with the Aghanim’s Scepter upgrade for the Intelligence hero. You can increase the attack range of Death Ward by 100 and the damage of Death Ward by 60 through the Talent Tree.

Many people buy Dagon for Witch Doctor to deal instant burst damage with the item. Dagon can be bought for 2700 gold and grants 14 Intelligence, 6 Agility, and 6 Strength to its users. A level 1 Dagon can be used to deal 400 damage in an instant to opponents.

You can upgrade Dagon up to 4 times and deal a maximum of 800 damage to enemy units with the item. Dagon can be used after casting Maledict to punish enemies in battles. The massive damage dealt by Maledict, Death Ward, and Dagon makes Witch Doctor a favorable support hero to earn bonus battle points in Cavern Crawl during Battle Pass 2022.

Players can pick Witch Doctor to complete Cavern Crawl with the easiest support heroes to unlock the Whitewind Battlemage Mythical set for the Crystal Maiden.
