The latest VALORANT teaser shows Deadlock in a coastal area similar to California, and the map of Los Angeles also appears in Cypher’s documents
The most recent addition to VALORANT’s map pool was Lotus, which was released in January 2023. Now, in a recent teaser published by VALORANT’s official social media outlets, we have seen hints that point towards the next map of the FPS title.

In the teaser clip, we can see VALORANT’s newest Agent, Deadlock, approaching a van through an urban area with palm trees and hills in the background. These coastal views are very much reminiscent of Los Angeles, where the current Champions 2023 tournament is taking place.

Moreover, in the released teaser, Cypher briefly brings out a map on his computer screen, and according to Dot Esports, the southern coast of Los Angeles has “near-identical” features to the map’s southern part. Moreover, the map supposedly includes its own version of the Port of Long Beach.
Another Teleporter Map in VALORANT?
In the teaser, we can see Cypher spying on Kingdom Laboratories, and there is a large portal being used in the footage inspected by the two Sentinel Agents. This could be a hint towards VALORANT’s second map with teleports after Bind.
Potential Reveal Day of New Map
“Keep your eyes open for more secrets and details to be revealed between now and August 26.” – this was part of the title for the teaser. August 26 will be the day of the Champions 2023 Grand Final, and it could be the potential day of revealing this new map in front of a Los Angeles crowd.
