Intelligence heroes can cast their spells to fight enemy heroes in lanes. People can restore the health and mana of their teammates with Intelligence heroes to prevent their carry heroes from dying in combat. Intelligence heroes can activate Watchers spread across the New Frontiers map to gain vision of their surroundings. Disruptor

Disruptor uses Kinetic Field to restrain his enemies

Disruptor is an ardent Intelligence hero in the new update. He has a base mana pool of 315 and gains up to 2.9 Intelligence per level. He can capture multiple enemy heroes within a Kinetic Field to restrict their movements in battles.

The Intelligence hero can nuke his enemies using a Thunder Strike to attack them with up to 4 strikes of lightning bolts. Each of the lightning strikes deal up to 110 damage and affects all enemy units in a radius of 240. Thunder Strike can hit enemy units 4 times in one instance. You can upgrade Thunder Strike with an Aghanim’s Shard in the 7.33b patch to target the spell on the ground. Thunder Strike can lie dormant in the location that it is cast and attaches itself to any enemy unit that comes into contact with it. The upgraded ability also increases the number of Thunder Strikes by 2 and extends its cast range by 1600.

He is among the most effective disablers in Dota 2. Disruptor can cast Kinetic Field on a radius of 350 and lasts for up to 4.4 seconds, restricting all enemies within it for the duration of the spell. Kinetic Field has a cooldown of 11 seconds and requires 70 mana to be used per cast. You can cast your ulti, Static Storm, to deal up to 350 damage per second (DPS) for up to 6 seconds. You can cast Glimpse frequently in Dota 2 matches to disposition enemy heroes, dealing up to 275 damage to them with Disruptor. Glimpse has a cooldown of 18 seconds and requires 115 mana to be used per cast. You can increase the damage dealt by Glimpse and decrease the cooldown of the ability through the Talent Tree.

Disruptor can buy Arcane Boots for 1300 gold. He gains 250 mana and 45 movement speed by purchasing the item in his matches. The increased mana pool provided by Arcane Boots can help players cast Thunder Strike several times in lanes to deal damage to their enemies. Disruptor can replenish up to 175 mana to nearby allies in a radius of 1200 to give his team an advantage during team fights.

You can purchase a Veil of Discord to gain 5 Strength, 5 Agility, and 5 Intelligence. Disruptor can cast Magic Weakness using Veil of Discord to amplify the damage dealt by his spells. Magic Weakness can be used on enemy units in a radius of 600 and deals up to 18% more magical damage for up to 16 seconds. Veil of Discord has a cooldown of 22 seconds and consumes 50 mana per cast. The item can be bought for 1525 gold.

Disruptor can increase the damage dealt from spells like Thunder Strike and Static Storm by equipping a Phylactery. The Intelligence hero can deal up to 150 bonus damage with his spells with the item. He gains 200 health, 200 mana, 7 Strength, 7 Agility, 7 Intelligence, and 0.7 mana regeneration after buying Phylactery in the game. Phylactery costs 2375 gold. You can also buy a Lotus Orb for Disruptor to reflect most incoming spells for up to 6 seconds.

Grimstroke

Grimstroke uses Stroke of Fate to hit his enemies in the mid lane

Grimstroke is a support hero with a vast number of spells that can be used to harass enemy heroes in lanes. He gains a massive 3.8 Intelligence per level. Grimstroke has a base health of 582 and a base mana pool of 375. You can purchase an Aether Lens early in the game for Grimstroke to extend the cast range of his abilities and items by 225. The item costs 2275 gold in the game. Aether Lens provides 300 mana and 2.5 mana regeneration to the Intelligence hero.

He can cast Stroke of Fate to deal a base damage of 280 to enemy units up to a distance of 1400.  Enemy units hit by a Stroke of Fate have their movement speed slowed by 80% for 1.8 seconds. Stroke of Fate has a cooldown of 5 seconds and consumes 130 mana to be used per cast. Grimstroke deals bonus damage to his opponents based on the number of units he hits with Stroke of Fate.

Grimstroke can launch a Phantom at his enemies using Phantom’s Embrace to deal 40 DPS for 5 seconds. Enemy units attacked by a Phantom can be silenced for the duration of the spell. Phantom’s Embrace has a cooldown of 18 seconds and needs 140 mana. He can cast Ink Swell to save his allies in battles. Ink Swell can be used on allies to stun enemy units around the ally in a radius of 375 for up to 2.8 seconds. Grimstroke can cast Ink Swell once every 18 seconds and requires 150 mana per cast. You can reduce the cooldown of Ink Swell by 5 seconds at level 10.

You can cast Soulbind to prevent up to 2 enemies from escaping team fights. Any enemy hero affected by Soulbind will take damage from spells cast on either of the bound heroes. You can create a strong illusion of enemy heroes to defeat your opponents by purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter for Grimstroke in the 7.33b patch. The illusion created by Dark Portrait can deal 350% bonus damage to enemy heroes and lasts for up to 25 seconds.

The support hero can buy a Pavise for 1400 gold. The item grants 175 health, 2.5 mana regeneration, and 3 armor to Grimstroke. He can cast Protect on allies to absorb up to 300 damage from incoming attacks for 8 seconds. Pavise has a cooldown of 18 seconds and needs 75 mana to be used. The new item added in the 7.33b patch will help Grimstroke and his allies survive longer in lanes.

Grimstroke can purchase a Pipe of Insight to increase his magic resistance by 25% and gain up to 8.5 health regeneration rate. The Intelligence hero can cast Barrier on allies around him in a radius of 1200 to absorb 450 magical damage from spells cast by enemy heroes. Pipe of Insight costs 3375 gold.

The support hero can heal allies for 350 health and 200 mana by purchasing a Guardian Greaves. The item affects all allies around Grimstroke in a radius of 1200. Guardian Greaves provides 250 mana, 50 movement speed, and 4 armor to Grimstroke. You can buy the item for 4950 gold. These items and abilities make Grimstroke a frequently picked Intelligence hero in the 7.33b patch.
