The Dutch heavyweights lost to Gaimin Gladiators in the Berlin Major 2023 Grand Final, but the latest DPC rankings place them at the top of the pile
The second DPC Tour for this season came to an end with the ESL One Berlin Major, and the teams that performed strongly in the tournament can expect to play in the International 12, which will take place after the regular season wraps up.

Although there is one more Tour to be played this season, some teams have all but confirmed their TI12 spots. Unless we witness an unexpected twist of fate in Tour 3, most competitors outside the top 12 sides in the post-major DPC rankings will face an uphill struggle to catch up.

Team Liquid currently claim the prestigious title of the world's top-ranked team, with the highest accumulation of points. Even though they finished behind Gaimin Gladiators at the Berlin Major, Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi and company reaped the rewards of their remarkable consistency throughout the year.

The second team in this coveted table is none other than Gaimin Gladiators, which might catch some Dota 2 fans by surprise. Despite their triumphant victories in the first two Majors of 2023, this formidable squad, led by the incredible Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, cannot match Team Liquid’s DPC point haul in Western Europe’s Division I and are yet to qualify for TI12. GG finished second in Tour 1 and followed up with a third-place finish in Tour 2. Meanwhile, Team Liquid were champions on both occasions.
Typically, one would assume that Majors would outweigh regional tournaments by a substantial margin. However, Valve's inclusive policy guarantees each region a fair allocation of spots at The International. While it might appear unfair for teams that dominated the Majors, this strategy reflects Valve’s commitment to promoting the game on a global scale.
Talon Esports rank third with an impressive tally of 1020 points. A top 5 finish in Tour 3 will guarantee them a TI12 spot. It should not be a Herculean challenge for the team.
The remaining teams in the current 12 are:
- Evil Geniuses: 970 points
- 9Pandas: 896 points
- Beastcoast: 700 points
- TSM: 700 points
- Shopify Rebellion: 670 points
- Tundra Esports: 660 points
- Execration: 540 points
- Team Spirit: 520 points
- BetBoom Team: 460 points
