Florida Mayhem welcomes flex support player Young-seo “KariV” Park.
Florida Mayhem is onboarding Young-seo “KariV” Park for the upcoming Overwatch League season. The flex support player, who previously played with Los Angeles Valiant, Toronto Defiant, and Guangzhou Charge, will be playing for a fifth year in the Overwatch League.
You know him, you love him, and now we're bringing him to Florida so he can #BringTheMayhem.

KariV is one of the best flex support in the Overwatch League. He played with Los Angeles Valiant in the Inaugural Season, placing 2nd in the Regular Season and 3rd in the Playoffs. His performance led to his selection in the Overwatch League All-Star Game 2018, where he played against the best players in the League.
The following year was more complicated for Los Angeles Valiant. The defending Pacific Division champions didn’t win a single match in the first stage of the Overwatch League 2019 Season and failed to qualify for the season Playoffs.
After his time with Los Angeles Valiant, KariV joined Toronto Defiant. Despite the flex support player’s good performance, the team failed to perform in the Overwatch League 2020 Season, losing to the Los Angeles Gladiators in the Season’s North American Play-Ins.
His 2021 Season with Guangzhou Charge didn’t go any better. He played the entire season with no back-ups with Chan-hee “Mandu” Kim; only for his team to rank second-to-last in the East Region. The only team below Guangzhou Charge was KariV’s former team, Los Angeles Valiant, who didn’t win a single game.
A new beginning for KariV
KariV now gets a new chance in the Overwatch League. The flex support player already proved that he was one of the best Zenyatta and Ana players in the League. But his past also showed that this wasn’t enough to carry a team to victory. He is now joining Florida Mayhem, which placed 19th in our Power Rankings.
Florida Mayhem already has two other support players: Taesung “Anamo” Jung and Majed “SirMajed” Alrashied. SirMajed’s visa approval was delayed, forcing the player to compete from his home in Saudi Arabia. The signing of KariV offers a new possibility for the team if SirMajed can’t play with Florida Mayhem. It also provides the option to run a double flex support composition.
