Nigma Galaxy’s New Team Looks Dangerous

The new team of Nigma Galaxy looks incredibly dangerous and features some of the best players in the world. Let’s learn more about it.

In our article regarding the best Dota 2 teams to watch in 2024, we’ve included a few names that should perform better than the rest. While we believe they will do just fine, there is another team that looks incredibly dangerous, and its name is Nigma Galaxy.

Nigma Galaxy has experienced massive roster changes lately, but the team seems better than ever right now. Following MinD_ContRoL and GH’s decision to leave, Nigma made a lot of changes and has one of the best Dota 2 rosters right now. Let’s learn more about it.

Nigma Galaxy Roster

At the time of writing this article, Nigma Galaxy’s roster consists of the following players:

  • Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
  • Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
  • Daniel “Ghost” Chan
  • Roman “rmN-” Paley
  • Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi

Yes, you are not dreaming, SumaiL and Miracle will actually play in the same team! This is a dream come true for every Dota 2 fan out there, especially those who’ve been following the game for a while now. SumaiL and Miracle- are widely regarded as the two best Dota 2 players in the world (or at least were regarded as such). The rivalry between them was unmatched several years ago, so we can’t wait to see them in action.

Besides these two, Nigma Galaxy also added Ghost and rmn Dota 2. The latter was a very surprising pick because rmn Dota is 30 years old at this point, and he hasn’t been an active player since 2022. In fact, he played for Nigma back then after spending around 1 year with Team Liquid.

As for Ghost, the 25-year-old from Malaysia was a part of Xtreme Gaming until recently, As you know, the latter also experienced big roster changes thanks to Ame, which means it has a completely new team.

Potential problems with the Nigma Galaxy Roster

Nigma Galaxy's New Team Looks Dangerous

Even though Dota 2 fans are eager to see Nigma Galaxy’s new team in action, some fans used Reddit and other platforms to point out that there could be a lot of problems with the current roster.

The first issue is the presence of Miracle- and SumaiL in one team. Even though these two Dota 2 legends are among the best, we have to remember that they have very similar hero pools and playstyles. Both focus a lot on farming, so having them on the same team seems weird, to say the least. Considering SumaiL is the mid-laner, he will probably have to focus on space-creating cores to allow Miracle- to farm as much as possible.

The second thing that seems a bit odd is the current support duo. Despite the fact that KuRo is a Dota 2 legend, we can’t deny the fact that he hasn’t been a top-tier player in the last 2 years. Instead of adding someone who’s been dominating lately, the team decided to add rmN Dota 2 to their roster, a player who hasn’t been a part of the big scene in years, and even when he was active, he was mostly present in Tier 2 teams. In other words, a lot of fans are not sure he was the right pick because he is clearly not on the same level as the rest.

Bottom Line

One thing is certain – everyone will pay attention to Nigma Galaxy’s next matches. There are a lot of big Dota 2 tournaments that are about to take place, so fans want to see whether the team will be able to cope with the big names right now.
Some people think that Nigma may switch to Western Europe for the new MENA Dota 2 region, where it will compete against Team Falcons. Even though the latter is good, the region is not as challenging as Western Europe, so we think this will be a step in the right direction. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what’s going to happen, so make sure you follow us for more information.
