What is a Lethal Company eclipse? As soon as you enter Lethal Company, the first thing you can do is interact with a terminal and use different commands that will allow you to get information about the game world or to purchase items. If you enter the word “moons,” this will allow you to not only see all the moons available in the game world but also the effects on them, such as, for example, the Lethal Company eclipse. In this article, therefore, we will explain everything you need to know about eclipses in Lethal Company.
Lethal Company Eclipse Effects
As soon as you land on the moon that is affected by this effect, you will see a dark moon on the right side of your screen. There's no way you won't notice it because the game itself will warn you as soon as you're about to land on the moon in question. Furthermore, you will be surrounded by an orange shade, which serves to make it clear that you are in one of the Lethal Company eclipses.
Once you have landed, the first thing you will have to keep in mind is that any territory outside this orange shade functions as when it is night, so you will have to pay particular attention to the dangerous creatures you may encounter. In fact, you will immediately see Eyeless Dogs, Forest Keepers, and Worms appear. Furthermore, another thing to know is that the spawn rate of the creatures will also be increased.
If you think that being outdoors is dangerous, don't think that going inside buildings will change things. Don't be surprised; in fact, inside these structures, you will be hunted at the same time by two Coil-Heads and a Bracken. For this reason, it is extremely important that you have a team you can rely on to survive any threats you may encounter during a Lethal Company eclipse.
How to Survive a Lethal Company Eclipse
Once you know that going to an eclipsed moon is risky, it wouldn't be right to just tell you to stay away all the time. As you play Lethal Company more, you'll get better and want to take on tougher challenges. If you do decide to go to an eclipsed moon, here are some tips to avoid losing:
Before facing the eclipse, make sure you deal with other weather effects like Fog, Storm, and Flood to make things harder. This will make you more experienced and give you some useful things for Eclipse. As soon as you land on an eclipsed moon, quickly go to the main entrance and get inside the building. If you wait, you'll have to deal with many enemies soon.
Try to get high-quality items like a signal transmitter, a zap gun, and maybe a shotgun from the Nutcracker to handle enemies. You can't run away from all the enemies in this mode because the rail cheese isn't in the game anymore. It's a good idea to play Eclipsed with at least four players. It helps to have one person on the ship to tell others about the safety of the surrounding area.
