League of Legends Ranked Season 2023 Official Dates

League of Legends' 2023 competitive season starts once Patch 13.1 arrives in your region.


With much anticipation leading up to the season's Kickoff event, official sources have finally confirmed the regional start dates of this year's ranked season (Split 1).

Roster changes amongst the best professional teams in the League of Legends esports scene have us excited for the explosively unpredictable match-ups to come. Player team switches as well as recent group name changes can be a lot to keep track of, however. For all the latest news on the LCS and LEC, click here.

In a recent post on their official twitter account, the League of Legends developer team posted the complete Split 1 timetable for the MOBA's 2023 ranked season. According to the tweet, the beginning will shortly follow the release of Patch 13.1. The game update may be deployed sooner or later than the times specified, but this is par for the course in any major League patch.

Planned updates for Riot's well-known title are set to introduce huge quality-of-life improvements. These new ease-of-play mechanics will allow players to recommend summoner spells, utilize new “jungler” options and much more. These new changes will roll out in parallel with the start of the coming ranked season.

Obviously, each region's approximate start date comes after Patch 13.1 becomes officially downloadable. Here are the official deploy times in every region's local time.
