With the departure of Fussy last month, Moist Esports needed to recruit someone to fill his slot. And they've found that team member in former NRG player Gild.
Moist Esports announced today that Gild would be joining the organization for ALGS Year 4. The talented 20-year-old joins Emtee and Wxltzy for NA ALGS Year 4.
I’m really excited to get to work with these guys. I think we’ve got a lot of potential and the vibes while we play are simply unmatched. GETTING WET YEAR 4 WOOOOO https://t.co/VLo5lAqRTS

As a member of NRG, Gild had a strong showing this season., NRG got off to a great start with a 1st-place finish at the ALGS 2023 Split 1 Playoffs but became inconsistent during summer competition. They ended their season with disappointing finishes at the ALGS 2023 Split 2 Playoffs and the ALGS Year 3 Championship (A disappointment they share with Moist Esports). Even worse for NRG Apex fans was the organization's decision to leave Apex entirely. But it didn't take long for Gild to find a new home.
Moist Esports' new Apex Legends team has a lot of potential and could shape up to be a strong NA competitor next season. Gild brings a lot to the table. Time will tell if it's enough for Moist Esports to hoist up their first Major trophy.
