Fortnite x Moon Knight Collab Coming Soon?

Is Epic Games planning to bring Moon Knight into Fortnite?

It’s no secret that Marvel Comics and video game developer Epic Games have a solid working relationship. In the early days of Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic and Marvel worked on the first barrier-breaking crossover—the Avengers: Infinity War game mode. Since then, the collaborations between both parties have remained constant.

Fortnite fans witnessed the Deadpool inclusion in Chapter 2 Season 2, the Nexus War theme in Chapter 2 Season 4 and an arsenal of Marvel characters to complement this healthy partnership. ESTNN recently published a piece regarding some potential crossovers down the line. Recent rumors in the Fortnite space indicate Epic and Marvel are working behind the scenes to bring Moon Knight into the game.

An Ecuador-based data miner named NotPaloLeaks was the first to discover this potential crossover. He took to Twitter, stating that Epic Games has invited several Fortnite content creators to the Moon Knight Disney+ show premiere. The tweet did not specify which creators, but as ShiinaBR points out, Epic did something similar with the Dune collaboration.

The developers worked with FaZe Clan member Nate “Nate Hill” Hill and Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson to the red carpet premiere. Once there, the two players showcased the Dune-related cosmetics live from the event. Several of the film's stars made guest appearances during the stream.

A Noticeable Trend

It stands to reason that Epic could be walking a similar path. The company’s ongoing partnership with Marvel is unquestionably one they revisit the most. Fortnite and Marvel recently brought Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Prowler into the fold in Chapter 3 alone. Moon Knight could become the latest entry.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac in the lead role alongside Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. The show premieres March 30 on Disney+. We can expect more news regarding this potential collaboration in the coming days.
