Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 finally arrived early this morning following a lengthy downtime. After carefully navigating stressfully long queue times, players experience a Fortnite season unlike anything before. Epic Games removed building for seven days to start the season, added numerous new weapons and marked the start of the Imagined Order vs. The Seven. However, those are only a few changes in a sea of many.
The Battle Pass stands as a significant overhaul compared to Chapter 3 Season 1. Epic Games’ ongoing relationship with Marvel Comics continued this season with superheroes Doctor Strange and Prowler. Additionally, characters from the Imagine Order and The Seven are available to unlock. This season also utilizes the Battle Stars redemption system, where you need to earn this currency to unlock rewards.

The first Battle Pass tier features a reimagined version of the original character named Tsuki. Dubbed Tsuki 2.0, the Battle Pass describes this character as “Katta Tech’s latest weapon, sent to hunt down a broken prototype.” This tier also includes nine Tsuki-branded cosmetics such as a Glider, Pickaxe, Banner, Emoticon, Loading Screen, Back Bling, Spray and free V-Bucks. Anyone that purchases the Battle Pass will unlock Tsuki 2.0 for free.

Page number two marks the debut of the Imagined Order (IO) enforcer known as Gunnar. Those who played last season should recognize this character as the boss of Covert Cavern. Now, he is unlockable in-game. He’ll cost nine Battle Stars once reaching page two, and you’ll have to collect all cosmetics on this level before you can play as Gunnar. Other items on this level include a surfing Glider, dual-wielded Pickaxe, Emote and more–most of which honors the IO warrior.

Players that reach page 3 can secure alternate styles of Tsuki 2.0 (Shimmering Pearl) and Gunnar (Arctic Tac). This tier also features 200 V-Bucks, an Emote, a helmet version of Gunnar, a Loading Screen and a Lobby Track. You must unlock the entire page to get Tsuki’s second style.

An original character named The Imagined leads the way on page 4. The Battle Pass describes this red-headed female as “One of The Seven.” She is the last character you can unlock on this page after collecting all nine other rewards. This level also features another alternate version of Gunnar (Ultra-Charge), a sword Pickaxe, 200 V-Bucks, Loading Screen and Glider.

Kiara K.O. – a member of the Imagine Order – owns page 5 of the Battle Pass. The description lists Kiara as “beloved leader of the Tango squadron.” She is only unlockable after you claim every item available via page 5. You can also collect a segway Emote, free V-Bucks, a Glider, Pickaxe, Back Bling, Contrail, Loading Screen and Emoticon. Kiara comes standard with a sunglasses style.

More alternate character styles are available via page 6 of the Battle Pass. One is for Tsuki 2.0 (Iridium) and the other is The Imagined (Combate Elite), which depicts The Seven member in her armor. Players can also gather 200 V-Bucks, a Wrap, Lobby Tack, Loading Screen, Spray, Banner and the “Bag of Essentials” Emote. You must complete the page to unlock this tier’s alternate Tsuki style.

The Origin makes his Fortnite debut on page 7 with a reactive skin–the first of many variants. His Battle Pass description reads: “His reality lives on. One of The Seven.” You’ll need to unlock nine other rewards on page 7 to collect The Origin. Those other rewards include a Cube-theme Back Bling, 200 V-Bucks, a Banner, Loading Screen, Contrail, Wrap, Pickaxe and Kiara K.O. (Battle Gold).

A new anime-style character named Erisa joins Fortnite Battle Royale on page 8. The Battle Pass describes her as “A lost princess from a forgotten realm of warriors.” It’s not clear from the outset which side she fights for, but it’s safe to assume she is in favor of The Seven. The eighth page features several Erisa-themed cosmetics and another variant of The Origin (Granite Grey). Players must secure all rewards on page 8 before claiming Erisa.

The penultimate Battle Pass page grants another version of Erisa (Cerulean) and The Origin (Unchained). You will also collect 200 V-Bucks and more cosmetics on this page. Erisa’s alternate style is the last item you can unlock on this page.

Chapter 3 Season 2’s final Battle Pass page belongs to Marvel character Steven Strange, also known as Doctor Strange. He fits nicely into the Marvel Series classification, including various other superheroes and villains. Doctor Strange’s set features Spellwork Scimitar (Pickaxe), Mandal Disc (Glider), Book of Cagliostro (Back Bling). The Doctor Strange cosmetic outfit is the last item you can unlock on page 10.
Other Notable Battle Pass Features
Epic’s list of offerings does not conclude with page 10. Players can customize their own Omni Sword Pickaxe by completing Omni Blade Quests and collecting Omni Chips. This harvesting tool is fully customizable down to the color and sound.
Marvel’s inclusion in this Battle Pass goes beyond Doctor Strange to Prowler. This character is present primarily in the Spider-Man comics as Miles Morales’ father. Players will have to wait 32 days to gain access to Prowler challenges. This superhero comes with a Pickaxe, Emote, Glider and more.
The final component of the Battle Pass is the “Bonus Rewards” page. Here, you can unlock additional alternate styles, Contrail, Wraps and more. Epic Games will soon reveal this season’s Super Styles, so be on the lookout for those.
That covers everything you need to know about the newest Fortnite season’s Battle Pass. There is unlimited content available, and you can purchase the Battle Pass for $7.59 USD.
