FaZe Clan members Mongraal and Nate Hill appeared at the London premiere of Dune, played Fortnite and welcomed stars Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet and more to their Twitch stream.
Fortnite Battle Royale's latest collaboration brings the upcoming epic science fiction film Dune into the game. With director Denis Villeneuve's latest blockbuster set for release on October 22, Epic Games partnered with Legendary Pictures to honor some of the film's characters and paraphernalia in-game.
While it seemed the collaboration stopped there, FaZe Clan got in on the Fortnite x Dune action. FaZe players Nate “Nate Hill” Hill and Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson attended the red carpet premiere of Dune in London, England, where the former interviewed Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet, both of whom have starring roles in the film. Nate Hill unveiled their character's skins in Fortnite before he and Mongraal showcased them live on the red carpet and had several A-list stars appear on the stream.

The long-time FaZe Clan members met in London for the London premiere of Dune. Nate Hill journeyed across the pond to interview Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet and showed Fortnite's portrayal of their Dune characters Chani and Paul Atreides. Nate Hill and Mongraal subsequently went live on the red carpet to play Fortnite and display cosmetic outfits.

After playing Fortnite Arena Mode for a few hours, Nate Hill joined Mongraal on his stream. The two welcomed several of the movie's star actors and actresses to the Twitch broadcast. Before the premiere started, Rebecca Ferguson, David Dastmalchian, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet briefly appeared on the stream to interact with the two Fortnite stars.

The event has historical significance that elevates Fortnite Battle Royale to another level in pop culture. It's been quite some time since the game has been featured prominently in the public eye. This time, several A-list celebrities were involved in the collaboration.
Fortnite is objectively not as popular as it once was back in 2017 and 2018. Nonetheless, the latest Dune crossover shows its staying power, and having two well-known names like FaZe Nate Hill and Mongraal blurs the line between gaming and pop culture.
The Dune collaboration skins are tentatively set to debut in Fortnite's Item Shop either today or tomorrow.
