Fortnite: Venom Cup Teased For The Marvel Knockout Super Series

We are Venom!

Fortnite: Battle Royale players specializing in the Marvel Knockout Limited Time Mode (LTM) have only one more tournament before the $1 million Super Series finalè. Leading in, Fortnite developer Epic Games has hosted four character-specific competitions geared toward Marvel Comics’ expansive cast. First, we had Daredevil, followed by Ghost Rider and Black Widow. Today, Fortnite’s official Twitter account unveiled the final character that players can win in these weekly tournaments. Get ready for the Venom Cup.

The Venom Tease

Most reputable leakers revealed Venom several weeks ago. Although we don’t know what the skin will look like, many knew it was coming. The monstrous Spider-Man villain will appear as one of the beefier characters, similar to the Guff skin, albeit much more intimidating. Venom will also come along with a harvesting tool, glider and back bling, much like the three other Marvel Knockout Super Series characters. That’s about all we know thus far about the in-game items.

More leaks will come through later this evening as Fortnite prepares for the Venom Cup. We know for sure that this will be a duos tournament, likely following the same format as last week’s Black Widow Cup. The highest point-earning teams in all regions will earn the Venom Set before available in the Item Shop. The tournament will take place on November 18.

Some may have forgotten, but Epic Games will offer a $1 million prize pool for the final Marvel Knockout Super Series tournament. Dubbed the Super Cup, teams of two will have the chance to win an insane amount of money in the Grand Finals. Epic Games will provide more information about the Super Cup soon, so be sure to check back in with ESTNN!
