Earn The Daredevil Skin In Fortnite’s $1 Million Marvel Knockout Super Series

ESTNN details a brand new Marvel Knockout tournament series with superhero swag on the line!
Epic Games partnered with Marvel Comics to bring Fortnite: Battle Royale fans a season featuring famous superheroes, brand new points of interest and abilities. Notable characters available in Chapter 2 – Season 4's battle pass includes Wolverine, She-Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Groot, Doctor Doom and a variety of Marvel-themed sprays, emotes, back bling, gliders and pick-axes. Outside of the battle pass, players could purchase other Marvel superheroes direct from the item shop – Silver Surfer and Captain America received the most attention as of late.
There's no shortage of Marvel characters that Epic Games could bring into the fold. Daredevil appears to be the latest in a long line of exciting cross-overs. The difference between this newest Marvel character skin and the ones in the past is that players have two ways to acquire it. Option one is to buy the Daredevil skin from the item shop sometime soon. The other option offered players the chance to compete in a Fortnite tournament and dubbed the Marvel Knockout Super Series, which will begin on October 14. The Fortnite Team's blog post also indicated that this tournament series would culminate with a $1 million finale.
“Assemble your Super Hero team to compete in the Marvel Knockout Super Series — featuring four competitive cups centered around the Marvel Knockout game mode. These four cups will build up to a final, $1,000,000 tournament to conclude the Marvel Knockout Super Series happening on November 21. And as an added bonus, any player who participates in all four of the cups will receive the exclusive Nexus War Glider.”

What is the Marvel Knockout Super Series?
This newest tournament series offers a much more casual approach to competitive Fortnite than the likes of a Cash Cup or Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS). The Marvel Knockout Super Series is a trio tournament, utilizing the Marvel Knockout Limited Time Mode (LTM). This particular game mode gives players Marvel superhero abilities to use against their opponents. Here are some of the unique features in this playlist, courtesy of Fortnite Gamepedia:
- 70/50/30 material caps
- No KO, instantly die and respawn
- Duos or Trios, depending on the queue.
- 200 HP max
- 100 Shield Max
- No Inventory, instead spawn with 4 Marvel Themed Mythic weapons and / or items.
- Takes place in a named location on the map, with a small storm circle that slowly shrinks. The Storm deals very high damage.
Trios will compete in a series of ten matches across three hours. The teams with the highest scores will earn the Daredevil skin before it hits the item shop.
Marvel Knockout Super Series Scoring System
This particular tournament's scoring system offers points only for placement, meaning elimination points are not available.
Daredevil Cup – Trios
- 1st: 100 points
- 2nd: 50 points
- 3rd-4th: 25 points
- 5th-8th: 15 points
- 9th-16th: 5 points
Victory Royales will be crucial under this scoring system to ensure maximum points in each game.
Prize Pool
Each of the seven competitive Fortnite regions will hand out a pre-set amount of skins. Europe leads the way, offering 800 skins to the top 800 trios over the Marvel Knockout Super Series course.

Three Additional Cups to Come
Daredevil will not be the only character available in this series of Marvel-themed tournaments. Although Epic did not divulge the other superheroes, their blog post states, “The remaining three cups will be scheduled for next month. We'll begin to announce them with more information starting at the beginning of November.” Fortnite data miner HYPEX, seems to think that Venom and Black Panther will also appear in two of the next three Marvel Knockout Super Series events.
This "Daredevil Cup" is a part of tournaments series called "SUPER SERIES", we will get 3 more tournaments next that will POSSIBLY feature the 3 other skins in the comic.. (Venom, Black Panther..)
