Compete in the Black Widow Cup to win a free skin before its release in Fortnite’s Item Shop!
Fortnite’s Marvel Knockout Super Series continues as we move closer to the $1 million finale in just a few weeks. Epic Games officially revealed the Knockout Series latest installment – the Black Widow Cup – after teasing the character earlier this week. It is the third of four Marvel Comics character-based competitions, in which players can earn skins for free. The Black Widow Cup follows the previously held Daredevil and Ghost Rider tournaments of similar formats. The only difference being that a duos format will replace trios for the remaining Marvel Knockout Super Series tournaments.

This duos tournament will utilize the same Marvel Knockout Limited Time Mode (LTM) that we have seen in both The Daredevil Cup and Ghost Rider Cup. Players will spawn with randomly generated Marvel superhero abilities and will have to outduel the opposing teams. Duos that finish inside a specific placement threshold will earn themselves the Black Widow before others can purchase it in Fortnite’s Item Shop. See the full tournament format breakdown below:
- Three-hour session
- Ten matches maximum
- The highest point earners will claim the Black Widow skin
Here is a brief rundown of what the Marvel Knockout LTM entails from Fortnite Wiki:
- 70/50/30 material caps
- No KO, instantly die and respawn
- Duos or Trios, depending on the queue.
- 200 HP max
- 100 Shield Max
- No Inventory, instead spawn with 4 Marvel Themed Mythic weapons and/or items.
- Takes place in a named location on the map, with a small storm circle that slowly shrinks. The Storm deals very high damage.

Black Widow Cup Scoring System
Victory Royales come at a premium in this tournament. Duos will need to earn as many wins as possible, considering that they are worth 25 points. Here is the complete scoring system for the Black Widow Cup:
- 1st: 25 points
- 2nd: 10 points
- 3rd-4th: 5 points
- 5th-8th: 3 points
