Fortnite: FaZe k1ng Will Relocate To NA East For Next FNCS

Fortnite’s 14-year-old Argentinian prodigy is on the move to the NA East region for next season’s flagship event.

The newest FaZe Clan Fortnite player, Thiago “k1ng” Lapp, is heading to North America for the next Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) competition. Since his breakout performance at the inaugural Fortnite World Cup in 2019, k1ng spent two years dominating the Brazilian region. In the past few months, he became one of the FaZe5 contest winners and wants to prove himself as a competitive player further. K1ng will presumably move to Virginia, where he can utilize the state’s zero ping advantage and shine in one of Fortnite’s most challenging scenes.

The announcement came through on Twitter, and it instantly piqued the interest of competitive players in North America. Top competitor Evan “Cented” Barron was one of many to jump on the impression farm, joking that he’d make room on his trio for k1ng. All jokes aside, there are only a few possibilities for the Argentinian player as he takes his talents away from his home region, where he’s been one of a few remarkable skills. Given the language barrier, he’ll need to shack up with some fellow Spanish or Portuguese-speaking players. That leaves one particular team in the minds of hardcore Fortnite fans.

Alliege x Jelty x k1ng x pgod?

K1ng’s limited options could be a cause for concern. But one outstanding Spanish trio could make room for one heading into FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 6. Alliege, Jelty and pgod are three of the best Spanish players in Fortnite. It would be ideal if two of those three and k1ng were to combine forces. It’s likely k1ng’s best chance to find success without learning fluent English in a few months. Fresh off a win and a runner-up finish over his last two Brazilian FNCS tournaments, there’s a lot of hype behind the Fortnite World Cup standout as he moves to MA East.
