Fnatic continue to make waves towards the end of the year by winning Red Bull Home Ground #4 in an iconic Grand Final against North American Cloud9
European squad Fnatic have achieved yet another trophy in Tokyo at this year’s Red Bull Home Ground #4. The LAN tournament featured eight teams – six invited rosters and two from Qualifier events. With this, Fnatic have won three events in 2023, and two of them came from S-tier VCT LANs.

Epic Grand Final: Fnatic vs Cloud9
The best-of-5 Grand Final went to the distance as we saw the match landing on the fifth map. This was an excellent look from Fnatic’s new head coach, Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit, who recently replaced Jacob “mini” Harris, taking the responsibility of leading a world-class team.
While Fnatic brought the same five members we have seen throughout this year at this event, Cloud9 had some new additions and an old player return to their roster. The North American squad’s newest Duelist, Francis “OXY” Hoang, had an incredible performance, scoring a staggering 92-80 K-D in the series.

On the other side, Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev had the highest kill on the team with an 88-72 K-D. Alongside the star Duelist, well-known fraggers like Leo “Leo” Jannesson and Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov had insane statistics. Four out of five Fnatic players had over 84 kills in the Bo5, while Cloud9’s scoreboard showed a disparity between the top fragger and the rest.
