The FaZe Clan vs MAD Lions match is the encounter of two underdog rosters of the North American VCL

FaZe and MAD Lions will meet for the first time in the VCL as they were in separate groups during Split 1, and the latter team couldn’t make it into Mid-Season Face Off. Both of these rosters are coming from very disappointing losses on their first matches of Split 2. In addition, their history in the Challengers League also looks terrible, meaning this will be a brawl between two underdogs.

As they come from a five-match losing streak, it’s hard to imagine FaZe making it to the Playoffs. The roster change hasn’t done much for the team yet, considering their recent 2-0 loss against Guard. We are still not seeing BABYBAY coming back to his old form, and the rest of the squad has also been struggling, including the new additions. While we expect them to win this match against MAD Lions, the future looks bleak for this legendary name in eSports.

On their first Split 2 match, MAD Lions looked like they didn’t even belong in VCL with a very disappointing show against Moist Moguls. The entire roster, except for N4RRATE, had a collectively bad series after Moist ended the match on Ascent with a shaming 13-2 scoreline. They must bring significant changes to their playstyles to not get dominated in the B group.
