ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online is about to begin in just one day. Here is the latest news about one of the best players in the world.
OG did the impossible last summer after they won two TIs in a row. However, after their glorious conquest, some of the team members decided to retire. As a result, the team went through a drastic roster change, which included Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng and Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan.
Even though everyone was super hyped about the new roster, it turned out that OG had some issues. Sure, they’ve played fairly well but the team was not as deadly as it used to be during TI 9.

Sadly, just when things started to get better for them, COVID-19 petty much changed everything. After the team successfully qualified for the ESL One Los Angeles Major, everyone expected them to continue to dominate during the event itself. Sadly, it got postponed, and the team just couldn’t show what they’re made of. The new roster didn't get the chance to shine.
Once all tournaments transitioned online, OG had to face a huge problem. As you may know, most of their players are from different regions. As a result, they constantly had some lag issues because Sumail is in NA and MidOne is in SEA. Despite that, the team didn’t stop playing.
Fortunately for them, their star mid-laner Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen is now back and ready to fight. He will try to help his team in the upcoming ESL One Birmingham Online, which will bring together some of the best teams in EU and CIS.
Don’t forget to follow ESTNN if you want to learn more about this tournament. As we mentioned, the event starts tomorrow, so don’t miss it.
