PSG.LGD has gone through a roster change.
Once the best team in China, PSG.LGD has been struggling a lot recently. In fact, ever since TI 9 came to an end, the team just couldn’t recover from the long break it took. As a result, they’ve tried to do a roster change but it also wasn’t that successful.
However, it seems like the Chinese team will not give up because they have yet another change on the line. From now on, Yang “Chalice” Shenyi will be back in the carry hero. As you know, he used to play as a carry before but was then forced to switch his position to the offlane.
New player
So, since the offlane is free, PSG.LGD has announced a new player joining the roster, and that’s Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei. This player needs no introduction as he proved himself many times throughout the years. He was a part of EHOME for many years where he won a lot of events. However, it seems like the Chinese superstar wants to try something new.
Many of you might not remember, but old eLeVeN used to play for LGD back in TI 7 for a bit. Sadly, it didn’t go all that well, so he made the switch to EHOME.
Since old eLeVeN is now a part of PSG.LGD, there is one player that has to leave, and that’s Li “ASD” Zhiwen. This doesn’t really come as a surprise because he wasn’t performing that well with the team. For context, he played for LGD for less than a month so that LGD can compete in the LA Major qualifiers. Unfortunately, they didn’t end well for the Chinese team, as they got eliminated early on.
The new roster
We will be able to catch PSG.LGD’s new roster in action tomorrow. They will compete alongside some of the other best teams in the world in WeSave! Charity Play, which will help those who are struggling with the outgoing COVID-19 outbreak.
Be sure to watch it because it is going to be epic.
LGD’s roster from one to five:
