Dota 2: LGD and CDEC to Trade Ame for Ajhit

There's some big roster shake ups happening in China ahead of the qualifiers for the next DPC Major.

LGD Gaming have just dropped some massive news on Dota fans.

Iconic carry, Wang “Ame” Chunyu has moved to CDEC, while Lai “AhJit” Jieshan will be playing for PSG.LGD in the upcoming qualifiers for the LA Major.

The team announced the movie on Weibo and Twitter today.

The transfer means big things for AhJit. He's proved his worth over the past few years, playing for the likes of Mineski and Fnatic, before settling into the CDEC Avengers squad in 2019. Ahjit only had a short stint on CDEC Gaming's active roster. He was promoted from the Avengers line-up in early December last year, replacing Guo “Eve” Yuhang who moved onto the team's inactive roster. Now, PSG.LGD are giving him a warm welcome for the 2020 DPC season.

Ame competed with PSG.LGD since 2016, helping the team qualify for The International three times. However the move to CDEC marks a return to his roots. The Chinese carry began his professional Dota 2 career in CDEC Youth back in 2015.

It will be interesting to see how the switch affects the performance of both teams. But we'll soon see. China's qualifiers for the next Major kick off on February 18. If we're lucky we might see both PSG.LGD and CDEC snag a spot in LA.
