Dota 2: Khezu and Skiter Team Up with Fighting PandaS

The North American team is back with a full roster yet again.

Just a few days after we’ve reported that Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Jinguin “Sneyking” Wu suddenly decided to leave Fighting PandaS, the NA team already found players who will take their places. Those two players are Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann and Oliver “Skiter” Lepko.

The two players will join Fighting PandaS for the upcoming StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. This event will begin in just a couple of days from now, so definitely be sure to watch it.

What happened a few days ago?

It seems like the decision of EE and Sneyking was out of the blue. Despite qualifying for the third Minor of the DPC, both of them decided to leave the team. We can’t truly know what was the issue, though there were rumors that it's due to the lack of a sponsor. However, until the players themselves confirm this, we can’t tell whether its true or not.

What will happen with FP now?

Following the changes, this is how the roster looks like:

Oliver “skiter” Lepko

Jonathan “Bryle” Santos De Guia

Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann

David “MoonMeander” Tan

Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling

While KheZu needs no introduction, you might be interested in knowing more about Skiter. You might remember this player from his stay at Ninjas in Pyjamas. He was a part of Peter “ppd” Dagger’s reformed squad after the disastrous performance at TI 9. However, after failing to achieve anything, he ended up leaving the team.

Just a few days ago, Skiter played alongside Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk for Aggressive Mode. Unfortunately, the newly-formed squad was unable to qualify for the LA Major, which was the beginning of the end for them.

KheZu, on the other hand, recently played for a team called GODSENT. Even though the fellas definitely had the willingness to fight, the European Dota 2 region is just too strong right now. As a result, they were unable to qualify for any big event.

The third Minor of the 2019-2020 DPC begins on the fifth of March in Kyiv. We will see eight of the best teams in the world fighting for the lion’s share of the $300k USD prize pool. In addition to that, there will also be a lot of DPC points on the line, as well as a spot for the LA Major that begins just a few days after.
