Disguised vs OREsports Preview and Predictions – VCL NA Play-In Relegation

After not reaching the Playoffs, the Disguised vs OREsports match will be these teams’ fight for next year’s slots in the Challengers League 

Due to their poor performances in the Challengers League and lacking enough circuit points, these rosters couldn’t join the Playoffs teams. This Play-In Relegation event will grant two participating teams their spots in 2024 VCL North America. Disguised are coming into this game as the favorites, even though they faced a humiliating 0-5 run in Split 2. OREsports, on the other hand, have a chance to tie the head-to-head score against Disguised as they lost their previous encounter.

Disguised’s form during Split 1 was commendable as they managed to get a spot in the Mid-Season Face Off through their 2-3 record. However, even after getting yay and doing some big roster changes, the team had a terrible 0-5 run in Split 2, which revealed the struggles of Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang squad.

OREsports were the worst squad of Split 1, where their only highlight was the match against M80, where they took a single map in the Bo3 series. Split 2 looked better, but the 2-3 record was not enough to get a spot in the Playoffs. Such an outcome in the Challengers League was disappointing to see from this roster, especially with talented names like Paincakes and Zeldris, who had their special moments throughout the event.
