The road to the StarLadder Berlin Minor starts today for the sixteen teams participating in the Americas Minor.
Starting today, June 12th, and running until the 14th, the Americas Minor features 16 teams who will duke it out for the six spots available for their region. The format is simple; a best-of-three, double elimination bracket. Win three, and you're in.
Highlight Matches
Out of the sixteen, Starladder invited eight teams who will face off against the eight teams that qualified through play-ins on Day 1. The Day promises what should be some great matches, as the qualifier includes the recently impressive Furia, who, just last weekend, made it both to the Grand Finals of ECS Season 7 and broke into the HLTV Top 5 Rankings. Furia will play Peeker’s Advantage in the first match of the day.
Envy will play Lazarus in the third match of the day and should give viewers a good look at what Envy will look like without AWP'er Josh “jdm” Marzano. Lucky for Envy, however, they've got Sam “s0M” Oh on their side. That said, today's match should be a fantastic indicator of where Envy really stands, as Lazarus isn't a team that will just roll over to a big name.
Joining Furia is an NRG that is fresh off their recent acquisition of Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. Today will be a good test of the Canadian’s IGL skills as NRG faces off against Twitch’s favorite stream team, Mythic.
Additionally, Cloud9 will face off against New Identity, the new home of Skyler “Relyks” Weaver and Will “dazzle” Loafman towards the end of Day 1.

3:10 PM – Luminosity vs. Party Astronauts
6:10 PM – Cloud9 vs. New Identity

9:10 PM – Singularity vs. Bad News Bears
Day 2 and Day 3 will follow similar schedules with regards to time.
