CSGO News: K0nfig and JUGi to Cloud9, per reports

According to a report by Dust2.dk, OpTic Gaming riflers Kristian “K0nfig” Wienecke and Jakob “JUGi” Hansen are on their way to fill out the empty roster spots on Cloud9.

At the end of last week, Cloud9 was in trouble. They pulled out of ECS Season 7 citing extenuating circumstances, followed by reports that Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey was also set to leave the organization. This morning, however, everything seems to be sunny in Cloud9.

Dust2.dk released a report detailing the possible move of OpTic Gaming riflers Kristian “K0nfig” Wienecke and Jakob “JUGi” Hansen to the North American Organization. With these two additions, Cloud9 has restocked on talent after the departure of Jordan “Zellsis” Monetmurro and Robin “flusha” Rönnquist.

If this move goes through, Cloud9 will be restocked going into the start of ESL Pro League Season 9 and Blast Pro Series Miami, both of which start on April 12th.  If the move does go through, Cloud9’s roster will be as follows:

  • Timothy “autimatic” Ta
  • Maikil “Golden” Selim
  • William “Rush” Selim
  • Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke
  • Jakob “JUGi” Hansen

On the other hand, OpTic looks to be in the same position Cloud9 was at the end of last week. If K0nfig and JUGi do indeed transfer to Cloud9, OpTic will be left with just three players, including:

  • Rene “cajunb” Borg
  • Ismail “refresh” Ali
  • Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
