Cloud9 announced this afternoon, March 4th, that they are releasing Jordan ‘Zellsis’ Montemurro from his trial with the C9 CSGO squad.

Cloud9 Zellsis performed admirably during his brief tenure with C9 at the IEM Katowice Major. The move follows the release of Robin “flusha” Rönnquist this past weekend after Cloud9 finished tied for 10th place. According to Rush B Media, Zellsis is rumored to be returning to the Swole Patrol Lineup. Maikil ‘Golden’ Selim returned to the Cloud9 lineup shortly after the major. While Zellsis didn’t look great at the Major, posting a negative rating in nine out of fifteen matches that Cloud9 played in at the Major.

This leaves Cloud9 without a fifth player for prior to the start of ESL Pro League on April 12th and Blast Pro Series Miami. With the departure of Zellsis, Cloud9’s roster is as follows:

Timothy “Autimatic” Ta

Will “Rush” Wierzba

Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey

Maikil “Golden” Selim
