Here’s a deep dive into the best heroes in the latest 7.33b patch that you can choose to win more matches in Dota 2.

Tinker

Tinker uses a Blink Dagger to cast Laser

Tinker can blast enemy heroes with his spells to gain an advantage in battles. He has a vast mana pool of 435 at the start of the game. Tinker gains 3.3 Intelligence per level, letting him nuke enemy heroes in lanes to deal bonus damage. You can purchase a Blink Dagger for 2250 gold in the game. Tinker can use a Blink Dagger to pop into battles in Dota 2 matches to destroy his enemies.

The Intelligence hero can deal 300 Pure damage to enemy heroes using Laser. He can counter carry heroes in his games by casting Laser on them early in a battle. Enemy heroes affected by Laser have their miss rate increased by 100% for 4.5 seconds. Laser has a cooldown of 16 seconds and requires 140 mana to be used per cast. Blink Dagger can be equipped in Tinker’s inventory to eliminate enemy heroes at will. You can purchase a Void Stone or an Energy Booster early in a game while playing Tinker to be able to cast his spells more frequently.

Take the mid lane with Tinker to level up faster with the Intelligence hero. He can deal up to 360 magical damage to 2 enemy heroes at a time using Heat-Seeking Missiles. These rockets have a cast range of 2000 units, letting Tinker target enemy heroes without being seen by his opponents. You can upgrade Void Stone and Energy Booster to an Aether Lens to gain 300 mana and 2.5 mana regeneration for Tinker.

His ulti, Rearm, makes Blink Dagger a handy item to use in the 7.33b patch. Tinker can cast Rearm to reset the cooldown of his abilities and items. It can take up to 1.3 seconds to channel Rearm in battles. You can purchase a Ghost Scepter for Tinker to allow him to channel Rearm without getting killed. Rearm consumes 240 mana to be used in the game. Aether Lens will give Tinker plenty of mana to cast Rearm multiple times during team fights.

Magnus

Magnus is a highly skilled nuker in Dota 2. The melee hero gains 3.1 Strength per level, providing him adequate health to tank damage from enemy attacks. You can buy a Blink Dagger for Magnus to initiate battles in the new update for the game. He can quickly cast Skewer after blinking into a fight to move his enemies away from their team. Skewer can be used to push multiple enemy heroes up to a distance of 1125.

Enemy units hit by Skewer take up to 360 damage from Magnus and have their movement speed and attack speed slowed for 3.3 seconds. Skewer has a cooldown of 16 seconds and consumes 80 mana to be used per cast. Magnus can use a Blink Dagger to land in front of enemies before casting Skewer on them. Once the enemy heroes are dispositioned in battle, Magnus can slam the ground with Reverse Polarity to stun all enemy units around him in a radius of 410. His ulti can stun enemies for up to 3.5 seconds and deals 225 damage to them during team fights. You can equip a Blink Dagger for Magnus to time his ulti to stun more than 2 enemies
in a lane.

Magnus can nuke enemy heroes with several Shockwaves to slow their movement speed. Enemy units hit by a Shockwave take up to 300 damage per wave and have their movement speed reduced by 75% for 0.9 seconds.

Batrider

Batrider is a Universal hero with loads of uses for a Blink Dagger. He can nuke enemy heroes using Sticky Napalm to deal massive amounts of damage to his enemies. Each instance of Sticky Napalm applies a bonus damage per stack and can be stacked up to 10 times.

You can cast Flamebreak to make enemies erupt into flames after nuking them with Sticky Napalm. Batrider can use a Blink Dagger to shoot Flamebreaks from different positions on the map. Enemy units attacked by Batrider using Flamebreak are knocked back, taking up to 100 damage on impact and a bonus 40 burn damage per second (DPS) for 5 seconds. Flamebreak has a cooldown of 13 seconds and requires 125 mana to be used per cast.

Most Dota 2 players use a Blink Dagger to isolate carry heroes away from their team with Batrider. The ranged hero can use his ulti, Flaming Lasso, after blinking into battles to pull enemy heroes out. You can wrap Flaming Lasso on Batrider to drag them onto ledges with a Blink Dagger. Flaming Lasso lasts for up to 3.3 seconds, dealing 300 damage over time. His ulti has a cooldown of 60 seconds and needs 175 mana. You can use Firefly to deal 120 DPS to enemy units dragged away using Flaming Lasso. Batrider can leave a trail of flames behind him that last for up to 15 seconds.

Blink Dagger can also help Batrider escape from enemy encounters. He can buy a Lotus Orb to reflect most targeted spells while channeling his ulti. Lotus Orb costs 3850 gold in the game. The bonus mana granted by Lotus Orb lets Batrider cast his spells without emptying his mana pool.

Tidehunter

Tidehunter disables an entire team with Ravage and a Blink Dagger

Tidehunter is a humungous Strength hero in Dota 2. He can weaken the armor of enemy units with Gush to provide easy kills for his team. Tidehunter can deal 260 damage per cast using Gush and reduce the armor of enemy units by 6 for 7 seconds. Enemy units hit by Gush have their movement speed reduced by 40% for the duration of the spell. You can use a Blink Dagger for Tidehunter to Gush enemies before they reach a safe location to teleport to their base.

Gush can give Tidehunter a number of assists in his matches. You can purchase an Aghanim’s Scepter to upgrade Gush into a spell that affects all enemy units in front of Tidehunter up to a distance of 2200. You can blink near enemy heroes slowed by Gush to attack them with Anchor Smash to deal bonus damage. Any enemy hero affected by Anchor Smash has their attack damage reduced by 60% for 6 seconds. Anchor Smash has a cooldown of 4 seconds and needs 60 mana to be
used per cast.

Pudge

Pudge uses a Blink Dagger to kill an enemy in the forest

Pudge can hook enemy heroes with ease using a Blink Dagger in the 7.33b patch. The Strength hero can cast Meat Hook from various locations on the New Frontiers map. The updated terrain of Dota 2 has expanded on all 4 corners, providing Pudge plenty of places to launch his Meat Hooks from in battles. Pudge can deal 360 Pure damage to enemies with his hooks. You can increase the damage dealt using Meat Hooks by an additional 120 damage at level 15.

Many people use a Blink Dagger to get closer to enemy heroes before casting Meat Hooks. You can activate Rot after blinking to slow enemy heroes by 32%. Once the enemy heroes are affected by Rot, you can use Meat Hook and Dismember to drain their health in team fights.
