Here are the best Cypher trips that can win you round on Haven
Haven has always been an excellent map for Cypher. This Sentinel’s trips stay activated even if he is far away, unlike Killjoy’s abilities. Moreover, the unique geometries present in the map allow for some excellent trips. When paired up with his cages and camera, any setup can become deadly!
Here are the most useful Cypher trips you can use on Haven in both attacking and defending rounds:

Best Cypher Trips to Watch Flank on Haven
First, let’s get the flank trips out of the way. These trips are used when you are on the attacking side and want to know if someone from the enemies is coming from behind.
A Flank Trips
Trip outside mid-window and A lobby
This trip is great when you are going to A site. The opponent cannot jump over it from an elevated point. However, it’s not suitable for holding flankers that have pushed A. For that, you need to use the following trip –
Trip outside A lobby
This trip holds off enemies from pushing from the A site and is recommended when you or your teammates are not going A but need information on the flank. The downside is that this trip does not work well if your teammates have taken A and an enemy is flanking from behind, as they can easily jump over it from the elevated area on the right.
C Flank Trips
Trip outside C long
This trip works well to stop flankers from C or attacker spawn.
Best Cypher Trips on Haven: Defense
Recent Cypher buffs have made his trips very powerful. As a result, even regular informational trips can now be used to pick up kills. Trips that are primarily used to kill enemies are called “kill trips,” and we will be using this term frequently in this section of the guide.
C Site
Trip against C long pushes
This trip from the Radianite boxes is tough to break without utilities. As a result, it can be excellent to stall out rushes and even get kills from the backsite.
Kill trip C (1)
This kill trip can be used alongside the one we mentioned earlier to get 1-2 kills when enemies rush in C. Even if they manage to destroy the first one with abilities, they may not expect this trip. This is how the kill trip looks from another angle.
Kill trip C (1)
Kill trip C (2)
Variation is the key to keep getting kills with Cypher’s trips. You can place unique trips every round to keep the enemies guessing. This kill trip placed low is hard to see and can easily be triggered by the opponents. As a result, you can get kills from the backsite or even spawn if you have an Odin.
Garage
Trip inside garage
This garage trip is mainly used for information, letting you know if anyone has pushed that area while you can have players watching other areas of the map.
A Site
Trip against A long
This trip is easy to break but provides you information on enemies pushing from A long.
Trip against A short
Another information trip that can also grant you kills against rushes.
Kill trip A site (1)
You can set this trip up against the Radiantie boxes on default. You can easily kill the trapped enemy on this trip from A heaven.
Kill trip A site (2)
This is another kill trip that extends pretty long. You can grab kills from the trip if you are playing around A short or have an Odin (or any weapon with high wall penetration) on A heaven.
Kill trip A site (3)
Another option for bringing variation to your A setup.
B Site
Standard B trip
This trip allows your teammates to stack other sites while they leave B unattended.
Kill trip B
There could be several kill trips on B, but it’s more beneficial to use kill trips on C or A. Nonetheless, this is one of the trips you can use to grab kills on B.
