NRG’s Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks is likely to join his previous core at NAVI, according to sources close to BLIX
According to a report by BLIX.gg, Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere (NAVI) has reached a verbal agreement with Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks to join the squad for their next VCT season. The possible former player for NRG will be replacing Mehmet “cNed” İpek. It’s likely that he will be taking up the role of Duelist for the roster.
The Latvian player was part of NAVI’s core before joining NRG in November of 2022. As a part of FunPlus Phoenix’s EMEA group, ardiis was able to win Masters Copenhagen in 2022.

During his 8-month-long journey with the North American roster of NRG, ardiis achieved the second spot at VCT Americas. The team ended their Masters Tokyo run in fourth place and couldn’t get any significant achievements at Champions 2023 after getting eliminated from the Group Stage by Chinese newcomer Bilibili Gaming. After this loss, there were some massive changes with NRG’s squad, including their in-game leader Pujan “FiNESSE” Mehta switching to content creation alongside Sam “s0m” Oh.
Condition for ardiis Joining NAVI
While ardiis and NAVI have reportedly reached a verbal agreement, what happens next is up to NRG. If the North American organization agrees to sell ardiis to NAVI, the 25-year-old will be able to return to his previous team. According to BLIX, cNed will remain benched until interested teams offer a buyout.
