These are all of the Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges and how you can unlock all of the free rewards!
Apex Legends' latest event is Spellbound. It’s coming along with Control game mode in the most recent patch. While this is primarily a shop event, there’s still plenty to keep busy with in-game. The Apex Legends Spellbound challenges are great for getting some extra XP in the Battle Pass. On top of that, there are free cosmetics that you can unlock by playing along.
The Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges have been added alongside the shop tie-in for the January event. It’s a way for everyone to get involved in the festivities. Each of these is going to help you unlock a different cosmetic. These are all tracked by the in-game points tracker. As you get further along the leaderboard for points in Spellbound, you’ll get closer to unlocking each of the new cosmetics.
This is how the event is going to work and how all of the points work out. The Apex Legends Spellbound challenges aren’t the most difficult or complex. However, if you want to ensure you get all the free rewards you might have to get on the grind!
Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges
The Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges are going to be unique quests in-game. Playing through them will yield points towards the events. You can use this to unlock exclusive free cosmetics and rewards like Stat Trackers! It’s not quite Apex Coins, but there are some better prizes here including a new exclusive skin!
There are 13 different rewards to grab and only a little longer left to get them unlocked. The Spellbound event is going to end just before January ends, so you don’t really have all that long. You need to get a lot of quests, but they do refresh so there are plenty of opportunities.
Some of these quests can be pretty tricky. These are all of the Apex Legends Spellbound challenges and how you can get them completed to unlock those rewards.
Daily Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges
Play Two Matches
This one is easy, just hop into two separate matches.
Deal 1500 Damage
Another simple one. Clock up 1,500 damage on enemies. This should be achieved pretty quickly.
Get 10 Kills or Assists
This one is entirely skill-based! Just grab 10 different kills. Assists count too. If you really have a skill issue though, you could always get a better friend to carry you and get assists to get you over the line. Or even take the chance on just jumping in random games and hoping for a carry!
Battle Royale – Get Five Knockdowns
Five knockdowns are probably achievable at the same time as 10 kills, but it’s going to come down to winning out in firefights here.
Battle Royale – Get a Top 10 Finish Four Times
This one might take a bit more look, especially if you’re trying to get it done regularly. Just stay out of harm’s way until you hit the top ten, ten different times.
These quests are going to be refreshed daily. In this time, you can get a lot of points towards your rewards.
Event Quests - Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges
Alongside those quests which are going to be refreshed daily, there’s another round of Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges that are going on over the entire arc, spanning the entire event. These are the extra challenges that you can play through
- Spellbound Blight – Deal 50,000 Damage in any game mode during the Spellbound event.
- Spellbound Cut Throat – Get 200 Kills or Assists in Any Mode during the Spellbound event.
- Spellbound Victor – Win 10 matches of Control during the Spellbound event.
- Spellbound Master – Earn all other Spellbound Badges
These quests will award specific event badges to players for completing them. They won’t reset like the others. If you want to grab everything during the event though, you’ll have to play through these. It might be a struggle to grab the Master badge and get every single Spellbound badge reward though. You’ll have to spend a lot of time in Control alongside Battle Royale to finish off the Battle Royale Apex Legends Spellbound challenges.
How Do the Points Work?
The reward for getting through the Apex Legends Spellbound Challenges is worth the work to get up to the top tier by finishing off all of the quests. You’ll need to earn as many of the points as possible to get there though. This is going to be a grind. However, there are some rules to keep in mind to maximise what you earn.
Players can get up to 1,600 daily. If you’re getting everything, this should see you through all of the rewards pretty quickly. The different challenges will reward different amounts of points though. The easier ones won’t reward as much as the harder ones.
Each of the Battle Royale quests are refreshed each day. Your progress expires. Although, you also have way more opportunities to get points this way too. If you don’t get it done that day, you’ve missed out and will have to wait until the next day if you want to try again.
To get through all of the rewards, you’ll likely have to jump in every day and make sure you’re completing as many of the Apex Legends Spellbound challenges as possible. You don’t have all that long, so a big missed day could be the difference between getting all the free rewards, and missing some.
To keep an eye on how you’re progressing through the Spellbound challenges, you can check the points tracker. This is a special screen in Apex which will keep a tally on where you are on your journey through the Apex event. It also marks off how close you are to grabbing all of the rewards that you can too. This is located under the Spellbound tab in-game.
The tracker shows a timeline of points you’ll need to amass, along with how many you currently have. This is an easy way to see how close you are to the next reward.
