As we enter 2024, Counter-Strike esports looks to usher in a new era of competitive gaming. With the release of CS2, a new stage will appear for teams to face off on. Numerous tournaments have already been announced to be held, which we have noted in our article about CS2 in 2024. The year is shaping up to be an outstanding year for Counter-Strike. Fans and pros alike are already excited to get the season started and begin competing in CS2.
One of the most prominent events of the year is going to be ESL Pro League Season 19. Pro League is one of the most iconic events in the game and has a substantial historical value. Ever since the end of last year's Pro League on CSGO, fans have been itching to see the teams play in CS2.
As we approach the start of the event, let's take a look at all the teams who are set to play in the series.
Teams Participating in CS2 ESL Pro League 19
Pro League is one of the most prominent S-Tiered events in Counter-Strike esports. Since its start in 2015, the event has been held every year, except during 2020 due to the COVID lockdown. For 9 years, Pro League has seen Counter-Strike grow and change. From young guns to experienced veterans, everyone looks forward to the action that occurs during this time of the year.
The tournament is set to start on 24 April and end on 12 May 2024. It is going to have a LAN event in Saint Julian’s, Malta. There will be 32 teams participating from all over the world across multiple regions. These will include 14 permanent partnered teams, 5 from CS2 world rankings, and others from qualifying events like the Challenger Leagues and National Championships.

It is important to note that 4 teams have not been decided yet as their qualifiers have not been completed yet. This includes 3 teams from the South American Qualifiers and one from the European Conference. These events will be held and completed before the Pro League tournament starts.
