All Call of Duty League Roster Moves For The 2021 Season

With so many roster moves happening this offseason, we’ve compiled a summary of them all here.

The 2020 Call of Duty League season ended on August 31, and since then we’ve seen plenty of roster moves. From full team changes to just absolutely none, we've pretty much seen it all. To make it easy to keep track of all the changes, we’ve put together a list of all the roster swaps, moves and changes to have it all in one place!

Re-signed Players

07/01 – Crimsix, Shotzzy, iLLeY and Huke all resigned by Dallas Empire: Following their World Championship win, the Dallas Empire kept their full roster for the 2021 season. With the move to 4v4, James “Clayster” Eubanks was, unfortunately, let go. However, he found a new home relatively soon.

07/05 – Seattle Surge resigns Octane: The human turret Sam “Octane” Larew resigned with the Seattle Surge for the 2021 season. He performed exceptionally well on a very poor side last year, so he will definitely be one to watch this season.

07/07 – Los Angeles Guerrillas resign Vivid: The Guerrillas resigned Vivid and let go the remainder of their roster. Reece “Vivid” Drost is a young player and will be hungry to perform in 2021.

07/08 – London Royal Ravens resign Seany: The Construction man himself resigned to the London Royal Ravens for 2021. He was a standout performer last year, but can he do it again?

07/08 – Chicago Huntsmen resign Scump, Formal and Envoy: While this was more a case of letting go of the twins, this also meant that Scump, Formal and Envoy could remain on the new 2021 Chicago OpTic roster.

08/06 – Cammy, CleanX, Methodz and Bance confirmed as Toronto Ultra starting roster: The four players would be returning for 2021 competing for the Toronto Ultra. With three Europeans, could they finally win a World Championship this year?

Roster Moves

07/14 – Dashy Joins Chicago Huntsmen: Now the Chicago OpTic, Dashy joined Scump, Formal and Envoy on their 2021 roster.

07/15 – Minnesota Rokkr sign Attach, Priestahh, Accuracy and MajorManiak: The Minnesota Rokkr put together a team of last year's New York Subliners and Atlanta FaZe creating an extremely good team for 2021. They’ve performed well in early wagers, but can they continue this in the CDL?

07/15 – Arcitys Joins Simp, aBeZy and Cellium on Atlanta FaZe: Arcitys was reUnited with former eUnited teammates Simp and aBeZy for the 2021 season. After their second-place finish, they’ll be hoping Arcitys can push them that little further in 2021.

07/18 – Clayster joins New York Subliners: Following his departure from Championship winning Dallas Empire, New York would be the new home for Clayster in 2021.

07/23 – Loony, Gunless and Prestini join Seattle Surge: Joining Octane on the Seattle Surge would be Loony, Gunless and Prestinni. Will he finally get some help in 2021? We’ll find out.

08/09 – French phenom HyDra joins New York Subliners: One of the best amateur players from 2020 would be joining the New York Suliners. HyDra had an exceptional year in 2020, but can he step up to the CDL?

08/12 – Assault, SiLLY and Apathy join Vivid on the Los Angeles Guerrillas: Three World Champions would be joining young gun Vivid on the Los Angeles Guerrillas for 2021. With two world champions of the previous 4v4 game, could they repeat their success?

08/17 – Insight Joins Toronto Ultra as Substitute: One of the best EU amateurs and former CWL professional Insight joins the Toronto Ultra for 2021. With previous CWL experience, the step up should be a problem for Insight.

08/29 – Zer0, Dylan and Alexx join Seany on the London Royal Ravens: While Zer0 and Dylan are returning players, their contracts were not extended and thus are seen as new signings. Alexx however comes over from the Minnesota Rokkr, as a fellow brit, they'll be looking to bring home a chip for Europe this year.

11/06 – Slasher, Kenny, TJHaly and Drazah join the LA Thieves: Slasher, Kenny and TJHaly will be joined by one other player on the LA Thieves starting roster for 2021. Drazah will be a substitute.
